Had an early scan after visit to a&e

After a week long of severe abdominal pains and a phone call to nhs direct, hubby n i were advised to take a trip to A&E last night. 6 hours later they said it would be best to have an early scan in case of an ectopic pregnancy. They managed to fit us in this morning.

We went along not knowing what to expect but thankfully all was ok. And hubby n I got to see our little blob with its heart beating away. All 4.5mm of it! Blown away by it! To be honest I've struggled with believing i'm pregnant but now I finally believe!

I know we have a long way to go but I am amazed at all of this!

Oh and the pains? They think it was just IBS! LOL!!!

Oh babe! IBS is awful isn't it? I suffer with it too and I can honestly say IBS and pregnancy do not go well together at all! I've woken up pretty much every morning with horrid pains but a trip to the loo normally sorts it out lol. Glad everything was hunky dorey with LO though! xx

IBS does seem worse in Tri 1, I feel more settled in Tri 2 but maybe its because I can eat and drink properly now so more in control, hope it settles down for you soon. Great you got an early scan though!
