Twins chat 2016/17!

I've just bought contended house of twins and it is great & I like the way they talk about the feeding and sleeping routines x

How much weight are we meant to put on with twins? I heard about 2 stone by the end for a singleton if you are average to start with. Thought I'd put on about a stone and a half so far but I was weighed today and it's over 2 stone already! It must all be babies, placenta, fluid, blood volume and lung capacity because the rest of me doesn't look much different! Bit shocked but no wonder I feel uncomfortable!

I didn't gain any weight at all, I weighed the same on the morning of my section as I did when I booked in at 9 weeks x

6lb1oz and 5lb12oz, I was about 2 stone lighter after I had them, I was all tummy too and I'm still carrying an apron of fat as I have an overhang from the section x

Nosing about for prams at the moment. Which ones do you all have? I refuse to pay a rediculous price for the Bugaboo one.
Looking at a disney twin stroller from birth up for now, anyone with any experience on this one? X

I completely lost my appetite but made sure I ate healthy but I mainly lived on ice pops lol x

It was amazing thanks The weather was lovely and everything worked out fine. We have a fantastic afternoon tea after the ceremony and it was great.



We got Babystyle's Oyster Max pram, cause I really wanted a tandem one. We really liked iCandy too, but not 50% more. Also got lucky and found the Oyster in great shape with all parts for less than half price on Gumtree.

Yikes, physio at the hospital today told me that she had a patient this morning who gave birth to twins yesterday at 27 weeks! Apparently they are doing well. And I just got told that I'm too early with starting baby laundry today.. pfft xx

My sister had hers at 32 weeks
Ah I wouldn't listen I started washing about 3 weeks ago & ive been organising bits and bobs today, it's good to be prepared & it's lovely getting all the dinky washing on the line x

Why shouldn't you wash the clothes too early?
We are just home from our first NCT antenatal class, v tired after 3 long days at work and busy evenings but it was really good!
