Hi - are any of you making a birthing cd of relaxing tunes for the labour suite? I'm going to make a playlist and would welcome and ideas!

I'm thinking Otis Redding - sitting on the dock of the bay for sure!

Do you have any other suggestions?

I didn't make a cd hun, but the radio was on, and 2 of the songs that were playing during Odhráns birth are so special to me now :) They bring back those feelings and memories.. Not sure on which songs but definitely do it xx

I'm just gonna make a relaxing playlist on my iPhone. Songs that are calming but are happy :) no sad ballads lol.

2 of mine were cheryl cole - 3 words, and you know the way its all spaced out music at the start, I was on the G+A and I swear it was surreal, I couldn't hear anything but that song, I had my eyes closed, I was in this place that was so relaxed! Another one was Katy Perry the one that goes, tight jeans DD's making me go twit twoo  I was dancing in my gas filled head.. Bahh I can't remember the name of the third one, my sister will remember, she said she was laughing at it because the words were something like "I can't hold on much longer it's getting stronger and stronger".. xx

my chap is a dj and plays house and techno and I definitely want something really relentless for when I am pushing. Maybe some hiphop like A Tribe Called Quest for afters to calm me down :)

I listen to a gabriel and dresden mix , I actually cant stand it now but it really helped me concentrate

Relaxing music like water music is nice. I have a CD called Journey in to the light, I find this very relaxing.

I think next time I'll go for something chilled out , angry music really made me stressed
