Ttc after Mc Stories or advice welcome!!

After TTC for a wee while we got our BFP sadly i MC at 5 weeks. Its been 3 weeks since and we have been DTD but not had AF yet as the doctor said it would probably be between 4-6 weeks before my AF arrived. Does anyone have any stories or advice about getting a BPF after an MC?

Yes I became pregnant straight after mc and I know of quite a few others that have too.
Sadly that pregnancy didn't work out either.its a popular theory that fertility can be high straight after mc.

So sorry for your loss. I'm very similar to you, I MC at 7 weeks, and that was 2 weeks ago. Been DTD since MC bleeding stopped (one week ago) - Just subbing to your thread to get some hope from others - hope we get out BFP soon xx

Hi baby lentil,

My story goes....been ttc since nov 2012, had mc June 13 and November 13 both between 8 and 9 weeks. It's currently been 5 weeks since my D&C and think I should ovulate tomorrow as had a smiley face today although I had one last week and week before too so my body is still a bit messed up. I'm really hoping the increased fertility is true and I fall pregnant again this month.

Have you been testing to see if you've gone negative yet? I only really got a proper negative on Thursday night xxx

I had a chemical pregnancy one month and got pregnant again the next without another period. We have a lovely 7 month old girl now.

I tested last thurs a week after mc and got a negative. Still TTC and would have normally been due 26th December. It's been 2 weeks and 3 days since mc. Xx

Sorry for your loss. I had a chemical pregnancy November last year got my BFP in December last year but sadly miscarried in January. I didn't conceive straight after I conceived in April but I'm now 37 weeks and counting the weeks to meet my new bundle of joy. I know a few people who got pregnant straight after a miscarriage and went on to have there baby fine xx

I miscarried at 11 weeks (after trying for a year and a half) and got hospitalized with loss of blood and bled for 3 weeks, i took it pretty hard as i seen the fetus as they called it and really did look like a little baby, started trying again few months later and now have a 3 year old daughter so i believe in it will happen when its ment to, might sound bad but if i didnt miscarry i wouldnt have my daughter the now, if you get what i mean, now trying for my second but dont ovulate anymore so round 2 x

It's really scary how many more stories there are about mc twice in a row makes me more scared heart goes out to everyone who's had to go through that. Thank you for sharing your stories xx

I feel the same. Loosing my first pregnancy was probably the worst thing I've been through but if I hadn't I wouldn't have been pregnant with my daughter the next month so I wouldn't change it now. Then I feel bad for feeling like that. I guess I would have felt the same about the other baby too but now that we have her I can't imagine not having our daughter. The due dates were only a month apart so I was 8 months pregnant when my first due date came and I still cried. MC and pregnancy brings such a roller-coaster of emotions.

Some women are less fertile after. Once you miscarry it's like trying all over again. So a healthy young couple can take up to 18 months to concive. So it's like starting that all over again. But if your trying for 18 months all together see your gp and the'll send you for tests x

We're heading into cycle 15 now in total if nothing catches this time. It's incredibly draining isn't it? How did you stay so positive cause I'm struggling now? Xx

I had a mc on the 17th of Feb, I was very lucky and had a period after two weeks! We took the following month off then cracked back on with it, One failed month then I got my BFP this cycle, Im now 5+1 xx

I had a miscarriage in January 2015 and have been trying ever since. Had all tests and they've said everything seems normal so unexplained. Really frustrating xx
