Trapped nerve??

Every now and again im getting a shooting pain,

in my hip/buttok area.. when i get the pain its when i stand on my right leg..

and then the pain is there for 10 mins or so then goes away..

then i can be stood there and move and the pain just cripples me.. dh said its trapped nerve but didnt know if you could have it there..

anyone else had this?

its stopped today.. i think it may have been the way i was laying the night before!

sounds like baby was laying on your sciatic nerve. Is he kicking very low and/ or breeched?

I have had this on and off for a few weeks. Sometime is so bad I cannot walk at all, had to wake DH up the other night to help me go to the toilet as I couldn't walk on my own to the bathroom

it does come and go but it is very painful

Could be a touch of sciatica which is common in pregnancy as the baby presses against your sciatic nerve.

Great article.. looks like it is pelvic girdle pain I have actually, is much more accurate description of the symptoms... hope this helps you too SSS!

that was a good article and the one on pelvic girdle pain describes perfectly whats been happening to me for the last couple of months. Shame there isnt really any info on what to do about it
