To those who intend to diet in the new year, what diet are you going to be doing and have you done it before?

Last time I was on a diet I just watched what I ate so I'm gonna do that again. Im not looking forward to next week cos it means I've actually got to stop eating crap! :(

haha, i know the feeling!! Ive put on almost a stone in 6 months  ouch!! I just love my food and booze far too much!!

i go to slimming world and got to my 2 stone weight loss on xmas eve took me 10wks I'm having xmas off then back on it in the new year just over an other stone I need to go,
But it really is a good diet but you have to cook but I have thinks like gammon egg and chips for tea and its all free so that means you can eat as much as you like :)

See i wouldnt mind doing something like SW but they'd probably kick me out laughing because my BMI is well within the normal range, and a stone isnt much to lose, but to me it is!!

Im not really sure what others there are out there apart from Weight Watchers, Slimming World, Cambridge Diet, and then stuff like Atkins??

Il b back at slimming world as soon as baby is born...I'm actually lookin forward to goin back and feelin a lot healthier xx

I'LL be joining WW as soon as the crap has gone from the cupboards (no good torturing myself) I lost 2st with them before so I know it works for me. Xx

i will stop eatin sweets n cakes n only sugarfree fizzy drinks weekdays startin saturday  i need to loose 3 stones :wall:

I've got 4lb of my pregnancy weight to loose but would ideally like to loose a stone and a half! im just going to stop eating junk but i get so hungry whilst breastfeeding and don't get a chance to make anything so i end up eating biscuits crisps etc! x

Once baby is born I'm determined by summer I'm going to be slim :) I have gained just under 2 stone and I'm 36 weeks. So if I put on loads of weight in the next month will determine how much I have to lose I guess! I think I'll just weigh myself when baby is born and go from there.

I'm a qualified nutritionist and personal trainer so have enough own knowledge without going on any specific diets.

Pm me if you'd like any advice :) it really depends on what you like eating as well. X

hey i put on just over a stone during regnancy and i have lost about a stone and half so far.... however to get down to a good weight for me i want to lose about another stone and half.... im just gonna do it by eating sensibly as i have a bad habit of snacking during the day and not eating proper meals! also whe ni get back to uni my netball team starts playing again so thats 2 hours hard excercise per week and then i have some fitness DVDs!! xx

I did Weight Watchers last year and lost 3 stone. I'm now at a healthy weight, but also want to lose another stone.

I love the idea of 'clean' eating, everything fresh etc, but TBH, realistically I just dont have the time for that.

So I will be going back to Weight Watchers. I trust it, it works for me, I enjoy food too much and need a diet where I dont have to cook everything from scratch etc.

x

When I finish breastfeeding I will go back to being a raw vegan where I only eat raw food (well I aim for 80-90% raw at least as eating out is too hard raw. Restaurants treat you like a freak when you ask for a plate of raw veg!). Can't wait. Looking forward to feeling sparkling inside and out again.
