Haven't posted on here in a while and thought it would be good to catch up. That's my Daniel coming up for 7 weeks already. He's weighing in at 11lb 11oz and is in the 98th percentile for length. Generally he's a good wee soul although still nowhere near sleeping thru the night yet so needless to say we are tired!

How is everyone else? Is motherhood what you expected? I have to say it's been a shock to the system, people warned me about the sleepless nights etc but i didn't really believe them:whistle:

Hope everyone is well and i have one of the latest pics of Daniel on my avatar now. Not that i'm bias but he's a wee cutie if i do say so myself :)

He's very cute indeed!! Bless him, he's doing well. Glad to hear it!

This is gonna sound strange, but motherhood is a little less stressful than what I thought it was gonna be, I have been ao lucky to not have depression and breast feeding has really worked out for me and I just can't believe my luck! My baby sleeps through (she's 8 weeks old today) and she's genuinely a good baby, can't complain about a single thing. I am absolutely loving it, watching her first smile and over the last few days she's started to hold onto things like her toys and her clothes and it's just so cool to watch them develop so nicely. I love it! :D

Thats great lexi so pleased for you! Although must admit i'm a little jealous about the sleeping thing! Longest daniel has went was 7 hours although unfortunatley seems to have been a one off at the moment. Hoping that changes soon. He is also outgrowing his Graco Symbio Carrycot very quickly too!! Had him in a 3-6 months jacket today (yikes).

hey girls, glad to hear your littleones are doing so well.

my littleman is now 5 weeks old and weighing 11lb 6oz. going to have to start buying 3-6 months clothes very soon!!!!!!!
we have been really lucky with him, breastfeeding is going really well and he only wakes up twice in the night now. in the early days i couldnt even keep my eyes open cause i was so tried.

went to the surgery the other day and doctor said H has got cradle cap. horrible thing. my DD had it all over her forehead when she was a baby, it looked like a burn mark. hopefully littlemans will clear up soon.
i was already use to motherhood and most things are still the same ( for now cause he is so young) the only real difference is, how long it takes to get out the bloody house hahaha. i swear it takes me like 1 and a half hours. oops

Thats brilliant that everyone is doing so well...
We aren't doing to bad ourselves, Benjamin is 7 weeks and two days old (five days old corrected), he 7lb 8oz, which is great!! And we are now, just about in newborn clothes, so hes able to wear lots of lovely outfits which is fab!! He still feeds every three hours but hv said thats fine cos he is still so small. So he cant manage huge volumes of milk yet, but im sure it will all come!! We had our last hv visit this week, and shes happy with him and we can now go to the baby clinics for weigh ins.
He has an umbilical hernia, but ive been told that its very common in prems, and hopefully it will right itself, apparantly surgery is rarely required. Fingers crossed!!
I would say motherhood is what i expected, maybe not the initial couple of weeks when we were in hospital but now everything is really good. So i would say we are all happy people lol xxxx

Im absolutly loving Motherhood Maisie is 7 weeks + 1 now and is an aboslute angel smiling away :) Everything about her is adorable she weighs 9lbs 12 oz which is brilliant as she lost 12 % of her birth weight initialy. She is really good at night and only wakes once and has slept through twice this week. xx
