Not a silly question at all

Yes it would make a difference, the midwife calculates the due date from your last period start then assumes a 28 day cycle but if you have a 32 day cycle then your ovulation is 4 days later and therefore your due date is 4 days later.

I also had a 32 day cycle and I worked out my due date on that and it was 24 august but the midwife worked it out as 20th august, told her I had a 32 day cycle but they didn't care.

The dates you have initially are just a vague indicator of when you are due and how far along you are, when you have your scans they'll work it out more accurately from the babys size and will give you a new due date that will probably used for the rest of your pregnancy so I wouldn't worry about your ticker being 100% accurate until after your scans, you can adjust it then
