Tightening and Leaking Water..

Hi ladies..

Well my friend is 22weeks Pregnant with twins and she has been having a rough journey so far! last night she said that she didnt feel right, she left it at that and went to bed.. well tonight she says that she is having pains (tightenings/braxton hicks) and is also leaking water.. but the worrying thing for me is that she says she has the feeling of pushing... im sure that it is not normal, is it? she said she rang midwife and was told to time them for 3 hours.. when i spoke to her she was only in her 2nd hour.. but i know i would of been up the hospital straight away if it was me especially as she is only 22 weeks and how bad she has been suffering so far..

what im trying to say is that.. is any of that normal (apart from braxton hicks)

im quite worried about her... but she one of these ladies that over exaggerates things so i hope things arnt as bad as she is making out!

I don't have a clue, sorry I'm pretty useless but just wanted to say hope she and her twins are ok! The feeling of pushing sounds a bit funny to me? I would be right up to the hospital too if I was her x

To be honest if she's leaking any water she should go to the hospital. Not too crazy about the idea of her feeling a pushing motion. Deffo needs to get herself in. Really hope all will be ok for her xxx

I know.. i tried telling her..i was getting frustrated because i would hate anything to happen just because she didnt go hospital in time.. well she has gone offline on facebook now so she hope she has gone up to the hospital! xx thanks for your replies xx

Just spoke to her.. apparently the babies are head down and putting lots of pressure down there so thats why she is getting the pains and it must of been urine when she thought she was leaking! but all ok but she thinks that they might make a apperance before her elective section on the 10th may when she will be 33 weeks i think.

Braxton hicks shouldn't cause water to leak, or the need to push. I'm suprised her mw didn't tell her to go in and get checked out?
