I have a 2 year old boy and i think he senses im pregnant. He has never been the cuddley type as we dont like to molly coddle him but since ive been pregnant he wont leave me alone.

If he hurts himself he usually just gets up and rubs it better but now he is so mard. Do any other mums think they can sense it?

xx

Im not a mum but i work in a nursery and recently a 4yr old started patting and rubbing my belly and being very cuddly. (not like her at all) at the end of the day i was talking to her mum and her mum said that the girl had told her i had a baby in my belly.
She may have over heard it from all us adults talking but was still weird. :D
There is also a tale that children under 4 can tell what sex the baby will be... im going to start trying it out soon x

Oh how weird lol save a lot of trouble asking a little un insted of hopeing baby doesn't have there legs closed when you go for the scan lol x

lol yhh im dying to know the sex but only time will tell

I think my son (almost 2 at the time) sensed with my daughter, he suddenly became obsessed with toy babies & buggys (this was during my 3rd tri so wasnt a big secret!) This time round they are 7 & 5 & my daughter is telling me I look pregnant. Waiting til scan on friday to tell them both! It's very odd as we've not said anything to them as of yet!

wow how strange!! kids must have some sixth sense.. when my Riley is crying his eyes out while i'm doing his bottle, he stops after 5 minutes and starts 'talking' to someone near the wall or the ceiling.. :O i'd love to see if the children under 4 can tell what sex the baby is!xxx

u've just reminded me, when I asked my son to say "brother" he would say "sister"!! We even tried tricking him with asking him to reel off about 10 other words to repeat before throwing in "brother" and it never worked! It was always "sister"

OH's friends had baby girl last month and their 2yr old Son spent the last six months saying 'hi girlie' to the bump....

my 2y.o. son is very affectionate to my bump and likes nothing more than giving it a rub and a kiss then he listens in for a minute or two before bed. he's been telling people he has a baby in his tummy too tho :eh:

I think kids do know these things, aswell as mothers lol, my mum and dad have always known before i have i think they witches hehe.My kids knew and kept asking everyone around us when i was saying are you trying to say I look fat, they are 13 and 11 though and apparently me being sick alot gave it away to them, but my younger 2 5 and 6, knew too, my 5 year old told me i was having a little sister for her a little baby girl before i even knew i was pregnant so we will see, and when i was pregnant last time she said he will be a sister, she would never say she, it was he everything and we didn't find out the sex and sure enough it was a he.
