Well if you can remember i wrote a letter to him about the rent increase asking him to re-consider as i cannot afford it...i also said i wanted the mould sorted out as with a baby on the way its no good and put i needed a fire as one radiatior in a large living room just wasn't going to be good enough with the baby...well he hasn't wrote back!!! Was over a week ago i sent the letter and the rent increase starts in april, i feel like just ignoring him seen as he is ignoring me. Any ideas on what i should do? i haven't been CAB yet as i was waiting to see what he said.
I will know if i have got this other house in spring sometime so keep your fingers crossed for me could do with some luck xxx

I think I would go to the CAB anyway just as a backup type thing in case he doesn't reply and you're too late. I wouldn't say any more to him about it though - you've written the letter (did you keep a copy?) and it's up to him to do something about it. Definitely go to the CAB cos then at least you can tell your side and get in there first and can say you had tried and had nothing so had no choice but to see them and get help. I really hope you get the new house hun, your landlord sounds like a right arse!!

He is a complete dickhead lol! I have the letter stored on my computer. Maybe i should go CAB...its the waiting in there for hours lol and if they can't help or he writes back...I'll give him til next weekend to write back then its been like 2 week and still no reply xxx

Do you know if your local CAB do a phone in session? Might be better than sitting there for ages? I think they do one at my local CAB.

You could always ask if there was anyway to either talk over the phone or get an appointment because you are pregnant. May as well use pregnancy to your advantage lol.

Haha yeah could say i couldn't sit that long without the toilet lol as there isn't a toilet in there! Its not a lie either :) xxx

Our childrens centre does cab sessions for those pregnant and for under 5's... Might be worth seeing if they have anything like that around you

Thanks for asking, haven't been yet giving him this week to reply :) xxx
