The Ipswich killings

at first i thought there's no way that could be him, there must be loads of tom's that are 37 and the guy they arrested was from felixtow, but then i saw it says he worked at tesco. i wonder if they used myspace to locate him? I mean, extended network of friends, discription, loction... What else do they need?

no idea :?

i seen his pics on the news this morning!

scary!

i hadn't seen his pic. haven't seen the news in a while. I tend to listen to the radio. I feel sorry for the people who met him online and added him to their network o_O

wait a miute this man might well still be innocent you know!

How do you know thats him on myspace? It could just be a normal 37 year old from Ipswich, im sure theres many of them!

yeah, that's true. but would they have announced his name in the news if they weren't 99% sure. if he is found innocent he could sue the police because even if he is found innocent everyone will always associate his name with this case.

no i seen on the news earlier. they said this is some of his pictures, which he had posted on a website. so that is defo him.

he could still be inocent but i dout it very much for how far the police have gone relesing his name etc

Makes you think about the people you chat to online doesn't it?!

OMG, thats freaky. Im on myspace a lot, im always careful who I chat too and dont respond to messages from men, but not everyone os as careful. I feel quite sick now from looking at his profile.

Its def not a fake, his last log in shows as being in october.

so glad they caught the creepy little w***er

All i can say is hopefully they have got the right man.

Hhe hasn't been proven guilty yet. I hope he gets punished but I think hanging him from a lamp post and toturing him is a bit  That would make us as bad as him, he should recieve a life sentence and live for the rest of his life knowing what he has done.

But that's the thing Beanie, a life sentence barely ever means "life" these days, shocking as it may be.

I think in this case it would. Life does mean life, just not necessarily behind bars. With a life sentence they will always be monitored even if they are in the community but I really do think that this killer will see out his days behind bars.

They've arrested another man at 5am this morning!!!

Hi

I really hope they get to the bottom of this, its so scary.
Katrina

I know what you mean about life not meaning life.. I used to work in a prison and it was a class B Murderers and paedophiles armed robbers etc... some of the people in there had done the most horrific crimes were given life but were allowed out after 10-15 years....

Also most had playstations in their rooms and had sky TV in their rooms -many watched "men and motors" at night and thats like a soft porn channel!! ( not in my opinion suitable for rapists!)

Don't get me started on all that though!!! I just hope they manage to catch the guy and give him a decent sentence.... in my opinion he should be tortured for what he has done.. bring back corporal punishment!
