Hi All......have had a busy couple of days, friends birthdays/ xmas shopping/ seeing friends/ working - its all go for us!!
I hope everyone is feeling better, extra special get well soon hugs for Austin, poor chap, I know what you mean about feeling helpless and wanting to do anything to make them better
I am determined to finish my last bit of xmas shopping online tomorrow then I can wrap the pressies and finish giving them out........then in just over a week its xmas
My sister turns 18 on xmas eve too....I am soooo excited, and my other sis has just bought her first car (she passed her test last month) I am so proud of both of them.
Libby is crawling everywhere, constantly pulling herself up, and she can even stand up unaided (only for about 5 seconds then she falls) it started with letting go of what ever she was holding onto, but today she stood up in the middle of the floor who stole my baby
Well, I think thats all the update I have for you...so hugs to all, off for a quick browse, I feel like I haven't been on here for months

My mummy is so bad at updating this thread isnt she? Well, I've decided to update you myself.

I've been rolling over loads lately. My mummy is going to buy a big rug for the livingroom floor so I can roll over however much I like without banging my head on the wooden floor.

She said somebody called Santa is coming one night soon to give me lots of presents. She said he will have to come in through the cat-flat as we dont have a chimney. Whats a chimney?

When I am six months old my mummy is going back to work and she is going to put me into a day nursery where I will get to play with lots of boys and girls the same age as me and it will be lots of fun. Im really excited and I cant wait.

Jake - Thank you for logging in an updating us to how you are getting on, we have a baby quilt that we put down for Libby, although these days she just crawls right off it. I bought it cos I know that now its not much use, I can wash it and keep it in the airing cupboard and it can be used as a quilt when she's a bit older

We are almost ready for xmas now, just about finished the xmas shopping, ordered the last big items today just gotta wait for them to be delivered, then pick up a few little bits in the week, and will try to get all the wrapping done tomorrow night whilst I watch the soaps

We went and bought loads of corner cushions for the furniture today, as Libby managed to fall forwards and hit her face off the corner of the side table thats after hitting her head on the TV unit y'day She has a scratch on her cheek bless her cottons, there were some tears from the pain I can tell ya!!

Not much planned tomorrow, gotta go to PO to send my secret santa pressie, and got work to do, think I'm gonna take Libby and get her weighed in the morning.....any guesses?

she's lost weight
She was 1lb 9oz today, HV thinks its a mix of her being unwell, crawling & being more active, so burning more calories, and teething (think her top two teeth are on their way.....makes for good timed "all I want for xmas is my two front teeth" jokes )
So, we have now chosen our car seat, just need to check it fits our car, we were going to go for a Britax Evolva 123, but I think the bottom of the seat is too hard and want something comfier, and we've both fallen in love with the Bebecar Iseos TT now....fingers crossed its compatible with our car
Sent my secret santa pressie earlier, and bought the last few bits I needed to order online, gona try and get my wrapping done tomorrow.
Better be off to bed soon.....why oh why am I still up???

i did a big post last night and then lost connection

i am very very tired at the mo Dylan has taken a dislike to sleeping

two nights ago
bed 7.30
next course of supper 8.10
woke for a snack 10.45
woke for a cuddle 11.30
woke again for a cuddle 12
got him in bed with me 1 am feed
wouldn't settle till 2 am
woke 5.15settled 6am
woke 7.30 went back to sleep till put in cot then awake 7.50
gave him to his dad

last night
bed 7.30 started gagging so got him up till 8.80
woke for cuddle smal;l drink 10.50.
woke for food 11.30
awake till 1 am on and off
made him a bed up on nursery floor with his travel cot matreess and he slept till 4.50
feed then in cot for an hour
6 am feed back on floor and fitfull sleep till 8 am

god i am tired

i have tried to speak to my HV but it appears i don't have one anymore

have to try sort that out tomorrow

i am soooo very grimpy .A has took D out now for a couple of hours so am off for a nap

em thats the seat I was lookin at, as a repolacement to the Maxi Cosi Tobi I wanted, as O's cousin had it and they have just bought a new one as said it was uncomfortable for him and also he had been ablt to wriggle out of the straps since he was 18 months. I thought as if, but when I went to hug him bye he wriggled qa bit and one arm was free! Let me know what you think of this when you get - oh and dont know if your getting it from mothercare at £140 but if you are, check this out 1st EBAY

Just won this bundle of toys for Libby!! Gonna collect them so only cost us £14.01 for 10 toys.....I'm so excited - (thanks Jo for the link) gonna put them in a box wrapped in xmas paper and give them to her for xmas with her other pressies
Have had a lovely day, been out for xmas lunch with Jo & Dylan, then went to Jo's and Libby showed Dylan how to attack the TV unit....so he was doing that when we left...oops!!

Howdy ladies!

Austin had his 9 month check on Wednesday and the HV was really impressed with him! I felt so proud, we went into the room & Austin showed off his crawling, standing and cruising, then he sat and babbled away for ages whilst he played with the toys on the floor.

He's still a little dot though, he only weighed 17lb 12oz! He's dropped down to just above the 9th centile but we're not worried as he's so active and hasn't been well recently.

HE finished his course of antibiotics this morning and seems much much better. He's still got a bit of a cold (very snotty!) but is nowhere near as bad as last week.

I hope all other mums & babies who haven't been well are feeling better.

E - what a bargain! Christmas is sorted...

We were going to get Austin a fish tank for Christmas but decided to get it as a family present instead so that we can all enjoy it for years. So instead we're getting him this which looks fab! The shop is about 5 mins walk from where I live so going to pick it up tomorrow morning.

Ooh nearly forgot - Austin has slept thorough (9pm - 8am) for the past 3 nights! It's fantastic, I'm so pleased with him!

He's just crawled up to me with a stinky nappy so have to go. See you all soon.

Hellooooooooooooooooooo ladies!!!
Im finally moved in to my new house i love it! 10min walk to the huuuuuuuuuuge shopping centre and town centre with clubs and pubs galore!! Not that i have time to go out lol!
Hope your all doing well and babies growing up cute as ever!!
The girls have been ill for like 4 weeks its awful! First Jaycee had a chest and ear infection, then we all had tummy bugs, i couldnt even get up off the sofa or drink water without being sick , then Jaycee was left with a bad cough and ellie got a chest infection, then the docs gave J an athsma pump to calm her cough, and now today the docs also gave ellie a pump!! And i have a wee cold but its bearable lol!
Miss chatting with you guys, been real hectic with the move and everything, you'll be pleased to know ive fully left C and he doesnt even know where we live. He doesnt want to see the girl at all not even xmas.. but i dont mind.
Ive found myslef a new man he is gorgeous and loves the kids as if they are his own im so lucky to have found him!! Only downfall is he lives in suffolk which is a 2 hour drive but we share the journey, he comes to see me one weekend then me and the kids go to his the next weekend.
He's taking us ice skating tomorrow cant wait, but im scared of falling on my ass lol ive never been before!!
Im so happy at the moment, and everything is settling down at home. Jaycee will start her new school here in January which may be a bit tough as she loved her old school but im sure she'll adapt
Will try and keep up with you all, feel bad neglecting you girlies, youve all been there with me thru my rough patches and for that i thank you! I could never have got through them without you all!
So....whats the latest gossip??? Whos got married, got pregnant, given birth etc etc i want news!!!!
