The Award Winning .......here i am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awww L...missed your post as I was typing......
I'm about to send you a PM

Hi all,

mb great to see you back on, I can't beleive how well austin is doing, I can't wait till thomas can do all those things!!

L, so sorry you are having a bad day, I have days when Thomas is a ratbag, it can be tough going, glad the ferrero roche helped though!

Em, we had the same problem with our scales, we did a weigh in with p on them (i wouldn't get on them!!) and he weighed more than when we took him to be weighed the next week - quite a considerable diffence in fact!

I have been working today, really enjoying it! I miss my boy like mad but love coming home to him!!!

Thomas wole at 3:30 this morning, and was crying on and off till get up time, which is very unheard of, he doesn't appear to be in any pain but I am wondering if it is his teeth? Very strange!!

Guess where i'm going a week on friday?????

Oh and another thing... I bought a driving theory CD today to get practising and learning the questions off by heart.

They have questions about first aid?! Caravans?!

Am i meant to care about caravans, oh, and 3 reasons why Trams are environmentally friendly... um, if I wanted to know that would I not be taking a tram driver's license theory test or whatever?! wtf.

Sorry, rant over.

Oh and I failed one of the questions because I said I would drive past a car on fire. Then nat told me my petrol tank would blow up and the correct answer was to wait behind and put on hazards.

Oops.

bugger! are regular scales no good for weighing babies then? i bought a digital scale the other day and thought i could weigh millie myself by weighing myself with and without her. wrong it seems!
iv recently got a facebook, hello to all who im friends with
if anyones not friends with me yet, add me im rachel smithson im in the PF group there
millies so clever shes been rolling right round and crawling today! (well, does 3 or 4 centimetres count? )

 hey guys!
our new bed came today YAY! our old one was broken and the matress was AWFUL- it had long needed replacing. now we got a £500 orthopedic (sp?) matress and a £500 bed (both half price at bensons!). it took us 4 hours to put it together! but it feels soooooooo nice cant wait to go to sleep tonite!

feel a bit sentimental about throwing the old one away, coz millie was born on it! but we cant keep an old bed and matress its not like u can squirrel them away in a drawer or something!

my boyfs of work and we going swim tots 2mro

hugs 2 everyone

Hi ladies

Well I'm over the moon today because I bought a new pair of jeans - they only had size 10 left and I was going to leave it because I haven't been that tiny since I was about 18 but I though I'd just try them... and they fitted!!! Not even just, but really well! I'm so excited I feel tiny. :cheer:

Hope everyone's well.

I put a post in health issues about Ryan being cold, he worries me :(

http://www.pregnancyforum.co.uk/forum/v ... hp?t=53424

Otherwise though we are well ish.

Hope you are all ok?

I sold some big guitar things on ebay for Nat's brother last night and today my job is to wrap them up and take them to the post office. That'll be fun :|

Me and Nat had another bad night again, with him wondering "if this is how we are always going to be as a couple now" because we don't do much when we get time together and i'm not much interested in being intimate :( i felt like such a letdown, and that on top of ryan's coldness being in my head.. so i went and slept in ryans room and he didn't even notice until ryan woke up at 2 and i came in to fetch the nipple shields and breast pads. Even then i got a stroke on the back and he fell back to sleep :(

I don't want our relationship to break down but I can't help but think nat's getting a little fed up :(

Sorry if I should have put this in the relationship section or something, but i didnt want it to be a big deal, was just mentioning it as part of the usual daily stuff..

m

JM glad the double baby-watching went well and babies were good for u

L   sounds like ur having a harsh time
babies do put a strain on relationships dont they u gotta be careful not to end up as satellites around the baby i kno its hard

also if i were u i would take ryan to a&e to be checked out. dont wanna freak u out by saying that but it really wont do any harm to go there and it will put ur mind at rest.

went swim tots today, but it was chilly :(
and when we got back, some builders who are working on next door house had painted part of our wall in the back garden this MINGING colour that the old lady next door has on her house- "because the wall is part of her extension" :x

Hi All

MB - I'm, not talking to you cos I haven't even been able to breathe on a pair of size 10's since I was 19 :shakehead:  What was Austin's weight? My guess is 17lb 9oz :D

JM - Well done with double babysitting, I sometimes think I have my hands full enough with just Libby 8)

L - I know its hard with a LO, but I think you should try to have a you & Nat night, don't let yourself wory about the intimte stuff, cos the more you worry abot s-e-x the less you'll want it anyway cos you're putting pressure on yourself. Even if its just a night where, once Ryan is in bed, you & Nat snuggle up on the sofa with a DVD and a takeaway. I'll check out your other thread in a min.

Can't stop on for long as Libby is just having a rusk, and there's only half of it left

We've been poorly :puke: We've both had a tummy bug, on Thursday Nght we checked Libby at 9.30 and she was lying face down in a pool of sick, I have never been so worried in my life, it was EVERYWHERE!! So we stripped her down, put her in the bath, C changed her bed and I put her in fresh PJ's, and she was sick again all down them & me :puke:  We put her in another fresh pair of PJ's and about 10 mins later she was sick again.
Well this went on all night, she was being sick every 15-20mins until 4am. She went through all of her babygro's and PJ's, all the bed sheets & towels in the airing cupboard and I felt awful for her, she was throwing up bile in the end (sorry if tmi) and she was quite distressed with it. We called NHS direct as I worried cos she'd gone really cold, andwas breathing really fast - the emergency doctor called in the end, and said to take her in if she kept with the rapid breathing, luckily (or ironically)by this time she was asleep and breathing normaly, so we decided to see how she went in the next hour, I fell asleep on the nursery floor, and she stayed asleep til 6.30am. I gave her a bit of milk and she threw that back up, so she had nothing but the occassional sip of water all day yesterday Took her to docs for check up as advised to, and he said just to slowly wean her back onto milk & food, she's managed a bottle of milk and 3 spoonfuls of porridge so far today and all is well, and is devouring a rusk as we speak.
I had it last night, was awful!! Went to lie in bed at 7.30 as felt so sh!tty, finally got a window of no sickness at 8.30 and other than the neighbours fireworks waking me up and 10pm  I slept through till Libby got me up at 6.30.
We're both much better now, but its been a horrible couple of days in ou household with it.
I even had to miss out on swimming & IKEA y'day cos of it.....and I'd been looking forward to that :?

Trix - I would be well miffed about the wall being painted too :shakehead: how is your new bed?

Happy Birthday JW hope you hve a marvellous day........ :cheer:

Hi girls,

I started writing this message earlier on, got nearly to the end, then the doorbell rang and somehow I lost it all - I'm always doing that - really bugs me! I'd just got round to posting here again after being frustrated that lots of posts were lost last weekend after the forum hack - grrrrrrrr.

We've not got much news - we've been busy going to mother and baby yoga, a weaning chat at the HV, seeing other mummies and babies and having my mum down for a visit for the past few days. Mum and I took E to Ikea & T K Maxx Home yesterday for a mooch around - just as well we went with my Mum who watches my spending like a hawk, otherwise I would have bought lots!

I've just been watching something on Discovery Home Health about quads being born, double identical twins - I was sobbing my heart out. I'm home alone again - sometimes I wonder what the point of having a partner is when he is out having fun all the time. I am finding the power shift and menial tasks in my relationship very unfairly divided at the moment. I just about shot him when he told me to have some 'chill time' this afternoon - oh yes, no problem with a baby - he doesn't seem to understand that it's a 7 day a week job and I would really like some time away - I love E to bits, but I wouldn't mind if he could take the reins now and again - but its very difficult because she won't take a bottle. Anyway, rant over, however it must be nice to be out socialising all the time.

jennywren - Happy Birthday hun! Make sure you log on and tell us all about it.

trixi - how is the new bed? Our new bed is v. comfy but its from Ikea so a bit cr*ppily made. Its quite funny but everyone else I know who has that bed has fallen through it too (slats are rubbish). OH has had to tie it up with string as it keeps buckling! How was swim tots? We're taking E swimming with her float thing again tomorrow. Thanks for adding me on F/book!

leckershell - sorry things with OH are a bit pants - you've done much more than me, I've yet to muster up the courage to do the deed since having E - I have zero s*x drive just now (apparently related to b/feeding). How is Ryan now? Did you go up to the hospital?

Emmy - I hope you and Libby feel lots better soon - that sounds awful.

cloud - bless D and his pooing - E sometimes still only poos once a week - yay!

maybebaby - I think I don't like you anyone. Size 10 - pah!

Have a lovely Saturday night/Sunday everyone.

Valentine Xxx

hey all..just wanted to add about the b.feeding and sex drive make sure your partners know this it helps there ego when they aren't getting any.
