Well Cloud 'the scales' 9 was closest with the guess the weight as he was 18lb on the nose, and she guessed 17lb 13oz iirc!!! Your prize is a big cheezy grin from O and its on its way!

Em - them prices online are good, but i would just be a bit warey personally as i like to go in for the fitting so they can heat them up and adjust them to sit correctly etc in the shop, plus I like the fact that if after a week or whatever you decide the perscription is wrong you can just pop back in to the shop!

Oh I got an email from a long lost friend today - i signed up and paid £7 to friends reunited about 2 years ago just to send him an email (we were best friends till I met b and then he moved away, I lost my mobile, he moved house so we lost touch) and no reply, i was gutted, then today I got a message just saying ''jen is that you'' lol- cant wait to hear from him.

Oran is currently in his own room (at mums) and just having a windge in his cot, im just leaving him a min to see if he settles, (dont do this at ours as it disturbs B and he gets a grump on ''cause he has to get up for work you know'' but cant leave it to long mum and dad in bed,

well you are a lucky bunny then. mind you i would still be weary of buying something like glasses online, just incase they looked crap on when they came, or were crap material, or different colours to the pictures or the wrong perscription, but im just a pussy ha ha. Anyway I have my appointment at 10.40am on monday (I tried contacts you see last time but from a different optician, after going back 7 times and me still not being able to see out of them I cancelled the DD, but then never bothered getting any new glasses lol) then were off to M&P outlet which I cant wait for wooo hooo

Nothing nice for me and O. Just hanging round mums as no point going home till B is up and partly over his hangover or he will just be miserable anyway and do my head in, then home, might get a take away and a DVD tonight though, perhaps a bottle of wine, although I know B wont want any booze so I may have to treat it all to myself!!

Oh my go Oran slept so well ;ast night, must be his cot and our place he doesnt like (well travel cot) cause he went down at 8pm, woke 8.40pm as he only had 3.5 oz of milk at 8, gave him the rest of his bottle and he went back off, woke at 11pm or something, went back off, I went to bed, he woke at 1am, went back off, then 1,30 so I picked him up and paced a bit, wouldnt go back off properly, so lay down with him on the bed in the room, we both fell asleep an he went right through till 7am!! He hasnt done that at home yet on his travel cot!! Must be uncomfortable for him, roll on my cotbed shopping this week!!

D is feeling very poorly its a long time since i have done a night shift..he mostly couldn't breathe lying down so lay him on a pillow in my bed but had to sit him up about every 20 mins as he was still getting blocked up ..poor little guy..he has eaten very well though not lost his appetite atall

jenny - have you scared everyone away? Good to hear from you - wish you had the internet at home as I love your posts - you crack me up!

Anyway - hello from a tired V. We've had a busy day out bed shopping dance - I threw a wobbler the other day and said that I didn't care how much it cost, we were getting a new bed and while I was at it, I threw in the demand for a new duvet, pillows, duvet sets etc - in for a penny, in for a pound. I think I might have said the words "well I just pushed an 8lb+ baby out of my vagina, you'd think I deserved a good night's sleep"! Tee-hee! Well it worked! We went to a Sleep Centre and other bed shops. I fell in love with some beds but to buy them plus a gooooood mattress, it was £800 and we just can't afford that (we can't really afford anything but hey ho!). So we went to good old Ikea and bought this bedframe and a top of the range mattress - total cost including delivery = £385. We then went to T K Maxx and I bought a duck down duvet and 4 pillows - so now just need to get new bedlinen before delivery of the bed on Tuesday and I'm all set! 3 more nights of being uncomfy - I can't tell you how excited I am, it's like Christmas!

Anyway - that's not very baby related! E has been really unsettled tonight which is really unlike her. She has been out of sorts, feeding constantly (so much so that I had to defrost breast milk under the hot tap as I was all out!) and is still not properley asleep I don't think! She is normally zonked by 7pm!

Cloud - how is D now? Hope he is feeling a bit better.

Nic - I am jealous you are having a mini meet! Have fun! Will you come and do my ironing? I don't iron!

Emmy - hugs going to you. It seems to never stop for you at the mo. Is MIL gone? Want smiley Em back!

Nic............wow 21!! Your geting on a bit now aint ya tee hee hee.

I think oran is getting his first tooth which is but at the same time. Bottom right, the gum is broken and something is peeping thorough. Dont know when it will come through properly cause apparently they can start to show and go away for a while. He has been really funny past few days as he is shoving things (anything in his mouth) and growling and shaking his head like when your trying to rip a toy out of a dogs mouth, we have been peeing outselves at him cause he is getting so angry, then last night it was calpol before bed, then when he decided to get up 3.30 till 4.30 am as he had a temp so figured teeth were playing up again.

He is still being a zombie or savager as we call him, opening his mouth and biting us on the face then grunting and snorting while he moves his head from side to side trying to shove our whole faces in his mouth............ooo the girls are going to love him when he gets older if you know what I mean (hope its the girls and not the boys ), he sure doesnt take after his daddy anyway

Well, yesterday Thomas had a streaming nose and the squits! I think it may be teeth though, I don't think it is a cold, he doesn't seem off colour or anything, he is sleeping well at night - hope I haven't just spoken too soon!! Is diarrhoea a sign off teething?

Not a lot else to report, spent the afternoon at Mums yesterday and the afternoon at Dads today so all in all quite a nice weekend.

Chloe is doing very well apart from the evening colic- although I am still not convinced that is what it is as she is only grizzly at night not screaming and I thought with colic babies tend to scream! This is my professional opinion!!

Still not sure weather sil has ordered the car seat, I hope that she has as we leave for scotland next weekend! She keeps phoning but p is screening the phonecalls as he has been working and can't be arsed to talk so I have been bugging him!

Did I mention that P crashed the panda car on friday? I porbab;y did but can't remember!! He was alright but the car wasn't!!

Whats everyone got planned for the week? We are going to baby group on tues pm, then baby group again on thurs am, possibly swimming on fri, doing lunch a few of the days, not sure what else!

I am going to start work soon, although I am going to be working from home I am going to start off going into the office to get a feel for the conveyancing world so I know what I am talking about! I am very flexible though, I only have to go in if P is not working! Might start before the ma runs out and bank the hours if you know what I mean!

Also trying to plan our ski holiday, we want to go in feb with a load of our friends so we are going to have a ski meeting at ours this week to look through the internet to see what we can find! I am lucky as although I am the only one with a baby all our friends think Thomas is marvellous so he will be the centre of attention throughout the holiday! Think he may be a bit young to go on skis but he can do some sledging and some shopping with mummy, then I will go off for a ski and he can stay with daddy, I won't be putting him into a nursery or anything while I am there!

Also wanted to ask when everyone else is going back to work? Are you planning on going or being a sahm? I love the fact I can work from home!

(and I had the bloody cheek to say "not much from me" at the beginning of this post!!!)

The squits can be a sign of teething, so maybe one will pop through soon....ooohh....the race is on!!

Thurs - Swimming
Fri - Working
Sat - Working
Sun - Hopefully going to the baby show

Loogerberooger is only 52 miles from me! Randomly my sil was born there - even though she lives in scotland!
