Cloud, i've changed the code of the web link, if you quote me, then copy from [url :all the way to: url] and repast into the post (edit and put it instead of your link) it should hopefully come up as words rather than the whole link that stretches the page, cos its a pain to read you trouble maker you. V taught me that trick

Hi girlies,

Sorry haven't posted for a few days - its really stressful just now as we are trying to remortgage (have been trying since April as didn't want to be dealing with this when heavily pregnant/have newborn baby) and this week we were informed that our IFA had made a MASSIVE f*ck up and its been horrendous to sort out. We've put a lot of plans in place banking on this remortgage going through so cross your fingers for us for 16 Oct as its touch and go at the moment. We are considering complaining to someone about our IFA - would we complain to FSA?

Anyway - we've had a lovely week (apart from the above!) - I can't remember when I last posted on here ( ), but on Monday we went to town (about 25 miles away) and met the girls from my NCT antenatal class with their babies, then went to meet another friend who has a baby 2 weeks younger than mine - she's still teeny tiny though - still under 8lbs - my porker was never that small, ever! On Tuesday and Wednesday we hung about at home, didn't do much really and today we went to a friend's house who has a 19 month old daughter - she gave me 2 whole bin bags full of 6 month+ clothes - I've had a good sort through, its all beautiful and lots of it is Rocha, John Lewis, M&S - lovely stuff. I'm going to have to label though before packing it away as she might (TTC) want some of it back and there's like 200 items! Then we went to T K Maxx and Asda - and I bought things for Ella as usual! A sleeping bag and a top and lots of other cr*p.

Ooooh I don't think I told you how I got on on Saturday on my day away from Ella - I think I did really well. I went into town with my girlfriends - we met for lunch and a charity shop browse. I left Ella for about 8 hours and although I missed her, I thought I did really well - I didn't have any real horrific pangs - I just was so looking forward to getting home to see her. I thought that it was really important for my OH and Ella to be alone together and for him to be in charge of caring for her for a change, rather than me hovering about, telling him what to do! I had a lovely, lovely day with my girlfriends - it was so much fun, I even had a half glass of wine (party on!)! I was very successful in the charity shops - too! However, her big smiles when I got home made my day! I won't be leaving her often, but when I do, I know that she'll be happy and safe. I'm exclusively b/feeding so my boobs were v. sore when I got home! She took her expressed milk bottles from OH happily (we had been giving her a bottle of expressed milk a night from about 5 weeks to get her used to taking a bottle) and they had a lovely day.

I had a visit on Sunday from a local girl and her partner who are planning a home birth in December and wanted to speak to me about it. I'd never met her before but my local midwife rang me and asked me to phone her shortly after I had Ella so we've been in touch via email ever since and today they came to meet Ella and talk home birth some more. Somehow I've become a local expert - eek.

I went to Babies and Toddlers last week in the village - it was good but it's £2 and you don't get much for your money if you have a baby. The toddlers can play with the toys and get snack but it's a bit silly going every week at the moment. I'll go sometimes to meet local mums (its run by the lady who will probably be childminding Ella when I go back to work) but not every week as it seems a bit silly.

The big news is that Ella is sleeping through the night - woohoo! The bedtime routine is in place - starts about 6.15/6.30pm, she's in bed by 7pm, naps and grizzles for a couple of hours then falls into a deep sleep by about 9pm, sleeps til 6amish, then has a feed then usually lets me nap til about 9am! Woo hoo! She also has 3 l-o-n-g naps a day - I have the world's sleepiest baby! She's so chilled out, doesn't give a cr*p about her baby gym or toys, just likes to stare about and go for a snooze!

Ella will be getting her first injections soon but we haven't got an appointment through yet, I'm certainly not looking forward to them. In other news, Ella finally pooed on Sunday after 8 full days without anything - I know b/fed babies don't poo often but surely that was some kind of a record?! I don't think Ella is teething yet - I had thought she might be, but she had just found her fists and likes a good chew and thumb suck!

Christ - I should really post more often - what a lot of waffle!

Emmy - thanks for your PM earlier - sorry I didn't have time to reply, just to act! I would have commited murder by now (wanted to throw my tea at the phone earlier and the MIL was in Aberdeen - and it was yummy beer battered fish 'n' chips!)

trixi - Well done on your win! My crown has well and truly been taken this week! How is Millie's bedtime routine now? We are persevering with ours!

missac - How exciting getting new car seat - I am excited for you! You'll have to get him a steering wheel like D too! I wonder if you nearly pass my door when you drive up to Scotland - do you go up the A1?

Cloud - thanks for posting the pics of D! He looks so cool with his steering wheel! I missed the door bouncer bargain at Asda today - looked but it had gone! Also looked at Boots - you are such a good bargain hunter!

KK - Congrats on nearly finishing a hectic week at uni - I'm really proud of you! Hope you enjoyed your yummy brekkie - was it fried?

jm - Bless Jade for being a wee thing! My girl's a porker, she certainly doesn't take after Jade!

 to everyone else!

I've been sitting here for ages so I'd better head to bed - not a fun thought as we are sleeping on THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE BED IN THE WORLD (tm) - it's a futon thing from Ikea and we are trying unsuccessfully to save up for a proper bed as it's just awful - there's all these poles that stick into us and there's a big dip on my side from when I was preggers! I would love love love a full nights sleep in a comfy bed more than anything! Ha ha!

Valentine xxx

Hi V good to see you
I had one of those ikes futon beds yesra ago had luxury mattress with it but was still very uncomfy in end just started leeping on the floor on a quilt

spunds hasstle with morgage i hate finacial stuff

woooo hoo on Elle sleeping through can she and anny other babies have a chat to D ?he has reverted to been a newborn :wall:

V - i hope you can get a new bed soon, sleep is the most important thing (not breakfast as most people claim!) and I hope your remortgage goes through ok. I def think you should claim. At the bottom of any of his paperwork, are there any companies/ associations he is affiliated to/ governed by? If so you should complain to them, if he franchises for a company (i.e. he works for himself but is overseen by a company) then complain to them. I would, even if just to make yourslef feel better!
P.S. I wish my MIL was in Aberdeen!! I pm'd you cos I know Urchin works on a Thurs and it was getting silly in there with all the hair pulling and he said/ she said kind of banter

KK - Glad uni is going well...how exciting - a placement - I wanna go to uni to be a mw now!! Hope you get a nice chilled weekend, you certainly deserve it!!

M - Teej is a corker!! Our first baby to go into a big seat (other than Keeley :D )....mind you, Dylans not far behind!!

Cloud - See you in the morning, told C I needed to be at yours between 9am and 9.15, he reckons we'll be leaving here at 8.30 to get there on time!! So might be anytime from 8.45onwards (as if there's no traffic we'll be there before even D gets up :rotfl: )

Nic - How's our 1 yr old princess!! And her gorgeous mummy??

Trix - Hope Millie is still doing well with her sleeping anf that your OH isn't still using all the bandwidth causing your computer to take ages to load. I had problems with this pc loading at first, but C did some sort of jiggery pokery with it and now its fine.

I'll upload some pics of my angel at the weekend, she has started sitting with her arms out to the side, like she's balancing, its soooo funny she just puts her arms out and looks all expectant  like something special might happen :)

Sleep tight everyone

wowee Nic that looks amazing!! You are a very brave girly!!! It is stunning

Oh my god, think thats the most pages Ive had to catch up on ever!!!

Well Ive been robbed!! Just checked my bank online as when I went to cash point I thought ''hmmm that seems a little short'' and £115 has gone out via paypal for some phone on ebay to some random foreigner!! Have I bought it, jave a fcuk. Grrr im so mad. Ive made a report and it says they will investigate and if found its fraud will refund 100% within 10 days but then when I submitted it it says 'reversed'' then when you click on the link for what reversed means its says it means the transaction never took place, but it went out of my bloody account you useless bunch of freaks. GRRRR Im so mad.

On a plus note, my loan came through today to pay off my other loan and CC's so there all cut up and paid off (kept spending on them so enough was enough lol) but have a spar few hundred so getting O's high chair, walker some toys, maybe his car seat (looking at maxi cosi toby) and a cotbed, myself new glasses, needed some for a year but couldnt afford it, since specsavers have 2-4-1 may as well get them now, a winter coat since I dont have one and that will have to be it lol.

got another offer on the apt..............£90k. Are these people seriously demented that they think someone is going to sell for nearly 10k less than they paid and go in to negative equity!! Just one more thing to pee me off.

Im getting seriously narked off with everything at the moment - we never seem to catch a flipping break.

I still dont have a car as b is using it for work since his is still off the road. God ive had a car since I was 17, I feel so lost and isolated, its horrible, I have it today as he has a works do after work so im at mums for the night - thought id take advantage since he will be in at ridiculous AM and will only disturb O since he is still in our room.

Oh is being whindgy, he is tired, caught 40 mins nap but wont go back to sleep - why do babies do this, if they are tired they should just go to sleep GRRRRRRRRRRR

OK I weight Oran today myself (I got on the scales weighed myself, then got on again holding him and subtracted my weight) so its not as accurate as the HV but just for an idea...............weight guesses please??

Hey Jw!

this appartment thikng sucks? Have you tried registering it on the internet privately without any estate agents? I am not sure how these websites work but I think you just put it on and you don't have to worry about etate agency fees?

I think Oran is going to be 19 pounds and one ounce!

I am getting the maxi cosi tobi, it is very cool. Have fun spending your money!!

Make sure and let you Mummy look after you tonight you sound like you could do with a few home comforts

woooo hoo on Elle sleeping through can she and anny other babies have a chat to D ?he has reverted to been a newborn

ok whose baby spoke to D..We woke at 12.30,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 7.40 :shakehead:

Dylan has a cough and a blocked nose so struggles to sleep got in wiht me at 3 am and I kicked A out...Em wasn't early as if :rotfl:

had afun time at this class but the massage was about 3min, the yoga even less then sensory play...D enjoted himself as did the libster but long way to go to play with a silk sheet :rotfl: but you'll be shocked to hear we ended up in the pub.

bought D some medisep and he is asleep now in his swing

I am going for 17lbs 13ozs for oran..can't remember what he was last time.would you be any better of renting it out for w hile or is that not an option ? wasn't KK gonna buy it some time ago  :rotfl:

Oh is being whindgy, he is tired, caught 40 mins nap but wont go back to sleep - why do babies do this, if they are tired they should just go to sleep GRRRRRRRRRRR

I have so had this converstaion with D but no answers for you.

love that tatoo nic..looks like a very painful place to have one though

Anymore guesses for the little man??

We cant really rent it out for various reasons (mainly, worried it will get trashed, need to get 130% of mortgage as rental income and we would be lucky to get 100%, the hassle when we have oran to look after). I think B was tempted to take the 90k tbh but I told him to be realistic, as long as we were to break even with the mortgage its fine (as we would just be in a FTB position but we both had big wage hikes since we first got out mortgage so not a problem) but if we took 90k would be 6k short but then sols fees ontop and we just cant afford to be in negative equity like that.

since im staying at mums tonight, when ive put oran to bed ill show y'all what im ordering tonight probably of kiddicare. (seen the highchair £10 cheaper on ebay but after being robbed im now not wanting to use paypal - once stung and all that)

Oh and have some video's of Oran in his cousins walker, I was so proud of him, first 5 minutes he went backwards (but straight away) then he worked out how to move forward- my memory card got filled up though sdo only managed a short vid. When I pushed him his little legs started runnign then when I let go he carried on running ha ha. Also he has been banned from his mini play gym. The other day I left him on it to get changed and it went quiet, I came in and he had kicked it over, everytime I put it up he kicked it over. Next day we tried again and he just kicked it over again so I got a video of his destructivce streak before the gym was packed away for good!

Mmmm wine tonight

ORAN UPDATE INCLUDING VIDEOS

I have ordered - Chicco Polly highchair in ruby, Chicco DJ walker and some vtech toys   so excited.

tomorrow will book opticians appointment. Monday off to M&P outlet to see if they have the cotbed I spied last time it was this one and was only £125 then tuesdya off in to leeds to look for a coat and going to head to the big next clearence place as someone told me the one in leeds has a shead load of baby clothes so might pick up a few bargains!

Feeling a bit better now ive had a spending spree.

Was going to order the maxi toby car seat as well but thought I better clear it with B first (although im paying for it) cause he always moans I always pic everything and never give him a choice, but thats cause when I do give him a choice he says ''yeah whatever you think'' so......men

I think ill just talk to myself in this tread tonight so when y'all get up there is another 100 pages lol

Hi guys.......

JW - I'll guess at 17lb 4oz for O.....not sure what he was before but I like your weighing style  cotbed looks lush!! Hope they have it in for you. I need an eye test too, can't decide whether to get BOGOF at specsavers or buy some from here Glasses Direct

Well, as Cloud said we went to sensory baskets & massage/ yoga this morning, it was nice to go and do as something different, but Jo & I could recreate it quite easily. And I think the girl was very new to it all.

Had a bad evening, walked out earlier, but back now - just stressed out with work. Got in earlier (after being locked out when I got home as MIL had gone to Sainsbury's  ) and phone & email started dinging and ringing every 30 seconds, everyone wanting something/ an answer NOW......Argh!! I really wanna tell tenants & landlords to F Off sometimes :wall:

And....breathe......

Feel a little better now, but feeling the need to swear if you know what I mean!

Nic - I love your tattoo....its fab!!

Hi to all......
