Been cleaning the apartment today off into town to buy a girft box then we're off to a friends birthday party tonight, have a couple of friends coming to look after libs, we'll only be in the apartment next door but I'll still nervous about leaving her for this first time (with non-fmaily member). She'll be fine, I know that, just feels a bit strange. I've done it before for like an hour, but this will be for longer

Hi all

I am poorly...Woke up at 2am and started puking ( not done that since Little man made his appearance) had stomach pains was sick and had all sorts of pains till 6am when i got to sleep after D's feed. I got A up I was in so much pain..Today i feel much better but am drianed...I went to mareaton park for an hour for eco festival then A has had D while i had a nap..pretty washed out still..supposed to be going to SIL for lunch tomorrow will have to see how i feel.

D is asleep now in his swing where he looks particualry cute asleep will try upload a pic of him sleeping in it in a couple of days to tired to bother now

Em..Hope you have a good evening..if it was someone you didn't trust you know you wouldn't do it

hello all how is it hanging?

were all ok thanks, went to a wedding yeaturday, so got some nice pics of us all together on the photographers camera so think were going to get b's cousin (whos wedding it was) to buy them for us and we will give him the cash as we dont have any nice family photos.

oran was facinated with his cousin (well second cousin but we just say cousin since b's family is so big its easier!) and was grabbing him andf trying to steal his dummy but Reece is 4 weeks yonger. Then His new cousin Libby who is a few days old, well he wasn't even interested - think cause she was just sleeping ha ha, then he has his 2 other cousins who he sees all the time (b's sisters little ones) and he loves playing with them but jack is like 20 months so he plays back and he loves oran, and kal is 8 months so she just likes beating them both up haha. Then he has another new little cousin (finnlay) who b's other sister just had and he is nearly 2 weeks old so he has lots of little friends to play with!

Hi All,
Libby is poorly...she has a cold, has had a really runny nose for about 5/6 days now...what can I do? I've posted in Helath Issues too. I was gonna take her to docs, but C thinks I should leave her a couple more days, she's really bunged up though poor thing
Hope everyone is well, just popped on whilst Lib is napping.....I'm back to the office on Wednesday my mom is having Libby for the day.......I guess cos I;m working already, I just need to look at it as getting as much done on Wed so that I can spend more time dedicated to Libby (& the housework ) during the rest of the week
Cloud - I hope you are feeling better too
JW - Glad you managed to get some family pics on Saturday the little man sounds like he has a whole entourage of friends 8) what a star!!
KK - Hope you are enjoying married life still.....too much sex for you & not enough posting mrs!! Get back here

Hey ladies!

Hope everyone is well!

So sorry I've neglected you all so much

I have had a truly magical week & loving every second of married life.

My HUSBAND has gone back to work today I am home alone with 3 ill children.

I had abit of a tummy bug last week as did Anders,then now so have Sam, Beth & Tom. I slept for 2 hours last night


Em, Sam also has a cold too,mixed with tummy bug not good! I followed baby centres advise & have made a wedge under his cot sheet with tightly folded blankets so that he sleeps with the snot pouring out rather than back,also he is having a lot of water,steamy showers etc....my little man loves showers!!
Hard work & I hope Libby feels better soon!

There is so much other news that I just don't have time to read up on today but I will catch up soon!

Will post wedding story in Off Topic when I get chance but wow,such a great day!!

Hey lovely ladies!

Where does the time go?!?! Ella was 6 weeks old yesterday and I just can't believe it. I also can't believe your LO's are coming up to or are 5 months old either - sheesh - where's the pause button?

We went for our 6 week check today with the doctor who did all the usual checks (but I didn't have to get my knickers off - woo hoo - hopefully that marks the end of anyone peering up my nether regions for a while!) and Ella is doing brilliantly - she's a little porker and weighs 10lb 13oz! She also told me the excellent news that my vaginal swab was clear. I'm not sure if that means that I no longer have an infection or no longer have Group B Strep (just now anyway) or both - but I don't really care just now as long as all is normal-ish. The doc also gave me a job lots of condoms, she left me alone in the room where they were kept and told me to take as many as I wanted!

We had a good weekend - we went to our NCT antenatal class postnatal reunion (if that makes sense) - 7 couples and 7 babies and Ella was as good as gold! She really did us proud and it was so lovely to see everyone again, now as parents and to meet the babies! The women are planning to keep in touch and have arranged to meet for coffee with the babies next Monday - woo hoo! Yesterday we had an exciting day of going to Tescos and watching a film ('The Queen' - I thought it was excellent) - the day just seemed to disappear!

You are all going to think I'm mad, but I think Ella might be starting to teethe - she's got some of the symptoms and I can see white flecks coming through. Oh well, time will tell.

KK - I have just read your wedding story - it sounds like the perfect day and what a lovely hotel - I am very jealous!

Emmy - have posted some (undoubtedly useless) help in your Libby cold thread in Health issues. Good luck at the office on Wednesday - I so don't envy you. How did you get on on Saturday night leaving Libby with friend?

Cloud - I think 17lb 15oz? I hope you are feeling better now.

jw - Hello! - hope you guys are good.

Nic - Not long to go now! I bet you and Keeley are super excited! Make sure you tell us all about it and show us some pics on Sunday!

V - All went really well on saturday night......Libby just slept all night, so my friends had a chinese & watched a film, and she didn't disturb them once Sounds like things are going well for you....you sound chirpy too hun.....sounds great that you are keeping in touch with the girls from your NCT group
Nic - You've said it yourself...no one will be watching you....they'll all be watching Keeley anyway
M - Hope you got your letter typed and are enjoying having a boogie good luck to your sis for tomorrow

We went out for lunch (well late lunch) to Pizza Express today....yum!! Had 3 courses & coffee and a white wine spritzer (haven't had one of them for years!!) Libby nibbled (or sucked rather) on a few slices of cucumber (which she seemed to enjoy) and had carrot & potato puree - which she loved. I was very brave (or stupid) feeding her orange coloured puree whilst wearing white linen trousers she didn't get me though!!

D has been swimming again today and he tried to swim too the bottom on his first swim..did a twist on the second..i think he wants to do syncronised swimming LOL. A had to get up to go to London at 3.30 this morning so went to bed at the same time as D but D had a 45 minute feed starting at 7pm so wan't hungry to have supper to get himself to sleep so i put him in his cot and he has chatted gurgled and generally made sure A didn't sleep till he was ready for his supper...clever boy
