I'm glad you guys are with me on the Gina Ford lady (I forgot to say that's where she got her ideas from - but no discussion on Gina Ford please as
it's not allowed.
However, I am trying to work out what E's vague routine is (today =
Last night feed last night - 10pm-11pm (EBM bottle feed, this takes so long as it's a bit of a battle with a bottle then straight to sleep)
During the night feed - 3.30am (tiny amount from breast and straight back to sleep)
First feed of the day - 7.30am
Nap - 9-10am
Second feed of the day - 10.30am (took quite a lot then barfed most of it up)
Nap - 11.15am to 2.30pm (I tried to keep her awake by taking her in the sling and wandering about doing housework but she still fell asleep)
...)
- but it's just so random there seems to be no pattern to it - I'm happy as long as she gets enough food, has a clean nappy on, nice clean clothes and gets enough sleep. I am lucky as she's a brilliant sleeper - she doesn't scream, just happily goes to sleep and sleeps brilliantly through the night - but I guess I just hate feeling like I'm doing something wrong.
KK and jw - Happy 5 months to Sammy and Oran! Good luck for tomorrow for nursery Sammy.
missac - I'm so pleased your sis is doing well and you got to meet Chloe! Try and get some pics of the cousins together for us once she is back home and settled. Teej is a star for sitting up!
jm - Looking forward to seeing your beach pics!
trixi - replied on your other thread, but I'm so pleased you cracked the night-time routine - we are attempting it just now but haven't got it yet - since she sleeps so much during the day (as above) - she is wide awake all evening!
Emmy - left you a message on F/book too, but I hope it goes really well today. How is Libby?
Cloud - Good luck at the paedeatrician (sp?) today - let us know how you both get on.
Nic - how are the last minute preparations going?!?
Love to everyone
