Em, that high chair looks great!!

Cloud, how are you and the dude?

Kirls how did Sammy get on?

Hi to everyone else, I can't remember what else I read!

Bought teejys steering wheel today!! It is very cool, we walked round town and he was beeping all the way!!

Hi!

M, just checked out your swanky new phone...very chic :D

Sam got on fine today...he seemed happy enough when I picked him up & he gave me such a big smile.

Think he seemed a little confused as to what was going on. Feel like an awful mom for putting him in nursery already but I know if I don't start uni now my final chance has gone, this time next year I would need to be working again.
Opinions on this one please.... :?

Nic...not too long now to Keeleys birthday? Are you excited?

It's Beth & Tom's birthday next Sun,the 23rd. ordered Beth a pink Nintendo DS lite with 10 games today,Tom wants Star wars.... they cost me more very year

We're having a disco party at home, luckily we've been able to limit the numbers to 18 :D

Love to everyone

Also forgot to say, with all of my walking to nursery & back & across to scchool, I've walked 8!!!! miles today

Got to do it all again tomorrow too & I've got 5 blisters!

Made me realise how bloomin unfit I am :rotfl:

Kirls I think that although it seems hard now you are doing it to provide your babies with a good quality of life where they can be brought up in a secure family home with a Mummy who has achieved her dreams, so the long and short of it is - you are doing the right thing  you should be very proud of yourself x

Beth and Tom's birthday is the day before mine 8)

Hey all
loving the dress Nic..she will look devine in it

I am fitter having D as we walk everywhere too. Glad Sam got on well...He needs a sterring wheel too..d Says

I took D to boots today to buy food he fell asleep at the wheel but beeped when he woke up to say get moving mommy.

He has had some banana yoghurt for tea from a jar it is 20% yoghurt and he has been a little sick with it but fingers crossed he keeps most of it down.

You are working towards your future..It will take Sam some getting used to but that does't mean its a bad thing..It will be good for all your family but hard work...It will also be good for Beth to see she can ave a carrer and a family but it is very hard work.

will be back later

Hey everyone!

How are you all? We are good - feeling super for having implemented and generally sticking to our new bedtime routine - well done trixi's Millie too!

We had a busy day yesterday, with a visitor (a close friend of mine) between 11.30am and 3.30pm - she brought lunch though, woo hoo! We had a good chat and went for a river walk and for a cup of tea in the cafe. Then we had the in-laws visiting at 6pm til around 8.30pm - they turned up looking hungry so we fed them! As you would expect, it was fairly painful, although I am learning that my MIL makes stupid throwaway comments as she gets anxious and just wants to fill empty space and she doesn't think about what she's saying. It can't be easy for her either as I am really touchy. I just find it difficult when they visit and have a different opinion on EVERYTHING and they have met Ella five times and I am with her 24/7 - who would know her best, do you think? However, its never going to change - my MIL will always be hyperactive, say comments like 'it's a shame' when I mention that I last fed my daughter an hour ago so she doesn't need fed again yet and she will always want to GRAB my daughter out of my arms whenever we are in the same room - I just need to learn to live with it and thank our lucky stars she lives a 2.5 hour drive away.

I am nervous as I have been invited into town tomorrow (about a 40 minute drive to Edinburgh) and have decided to leave Ella with my OH and to go. I'll be meeting some friends and going for a charity shop browse and will probably be away maximum five/six hours. I would take Ella with me but it's not very practical as we can't really use the pram (tiny pavements where we are going) and she'll be too heavy in my bjorn sling (want want want a Mei Tai!) for that amount of time. I also think that I need to leave her as I haven't done it yet and it'll get worse the longer I leave it and also, it'll do my OH good to have time with her on his own without me hovering about in the background! Do you think I'm doing the right thing or am I leaving her when she's still too young? I will be leaving lots of milk (at least 2 bottles) in the fridge and she will take a bottle now. I will also be contactable and can be home within 45 minutes if necessary (if she needs me or I get panicky and need to come home) as I'll have the car.

Also - I have two questions though for you experienced mummies - here and here - if anyone can help me with them?

Emmy - thanks for your support on F/book yesterday! I was running round like a blue a*sed fly trying to get everything done before my visitors! How is Libby now?

Nic - I LOVE Keeley's dress! How are your last minute preparations going? If I don't speak to you beforehand, have a brilliant time - I hope she and you have so much fun and gets lots of lovely lovely pressies!

KK - I think you are doing brilliantly by going back to uni - Sam will be happy as larry in nursery with all his friends and you will benefit from meeting people and learning things - go girl! I think Cloud has an excellent point about being a great role model to Beth too as you can prove that women can 'have it all'!

Cloud and missac - pics of your boys with their steering wheels please!

missac - how are Vicky and Chloe - are they home?

jm - brilliant holiday pics! You all look so happy!

Love to everyone

Valentine xxx

hello all, you girls talk to much, so your are all banned from posting more than once a day each :shakehead:

Lovly dress for K's birthday party, she is going to look even more pretty than usual, I cant wait to see some pics of her looks all cute.

Great D pics Cloud, sorry abotu A's job

JM - looks like you had a wicked time on holiday - bet your glad to be back (yeah right)

kk - happy birthday to B&T for the weekend. How did sammy enjoy nursery then? I think your doing the right thing going to college just for the record - will be well worth it in the end!

M - congraz on being a new anutie - its great isnt it - My SIL's little boy is 3 weeks now, but he is so tiny compaired to oran, I rem saying ''oran is never going to be that big, or fit in to that'' when looking at 3-6 or 6-9 months clothes, now I look at finn and say ''oran was never that small lol - oh and thanks for the huggs in my thread about his sleeping!

valentine - try not to worry about routine much, we have a bed time routine but thats it. Day just goes from when ever he wakes up but roughly 8 - breakie, 10 nap - 12 lunch - 1 nap, 3pm nap, 5pm tea, 6pm nap, 8pm supper and bed but thats just a ruff idea for us, if were out and about or he is not tired or gets tired earlier he will have a nap then instead, just play it by ear.

well the night before last he went down within 10 minutes so thought ''great'' but he woke 10pm till 10.30, then 1am till 4am, then 7am and up!! little bloody nutter. Last night he pretty much went 8pm-7am with no bottle and all sleep except just woke twice to bt put back on his side but was just a quick 2 second job so its all good, expecting another bad one tonight though as thinking he wants to do a good, bad, good, bad thing for us ha ha.

Today I walked briskly up to the eastate agents to drop keys off for a viewing, it was really hot today and when I got there I could feel my face all red and I was sweating - I was so embarressed to go in the shop but I had to they needed the keys - it never used to do that before I had oran - stupid bloody hormones. Then I walked to b's dads for a coffee and a cool down lol, then walked to the bus stop and got the bus to town. Ha Ha I didnt know how to pay cause last time I got the bus I had a kerrching (anyone used to have them!!>) well not that long ago really but last time it was a slot thing you had to have exact money, chucked it in the slot and bus driver chould see what you paid, but now you give it to the driver and get change, and I was most impressed, they run on hydros so if you have a pram he presses a button and it makes a noise like a transformer and drops to the floor so there is no step - wicked ha ha, then went to buy some clothes (got and extra £112 is SMP this month as some new european law came in to practice!!??) and or shoes, how come when you have money to but somethng you cant find nuffin - gutted. So trecked down to the retail park and got O 2 winter hats (one 3-6 mths for now and one 6-9 months for proper winter) 2 pair PJ's and a dressing gown (proper gutted I had to buy 6-9 months as know 3-6 will only last him a month or so, so no point waisting cash). was meant to then get bus to mum and dads but started raining so since dad was off I rung him and he was free so came to pick us up.

Tomorrow mum & dad having o for the night and me and b going out for a meal and a few drinks with is SIL and her fella since she got a sitter as well, then on sunday me and O going over to wirral with mum (dad was supposed to go but had to work so I said I'd go) to see my pops and aunti and unlce.

CHECK OUT ORANS NEW PICS : Including his new hats!!

What new european law, how much more am I going to be getting more money -tell me tell me tell me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck on the viewing, and I hope that Oran is deciding that he will break tradition and do good night two days in a row!!!!

Hey V- have a good shop tomorrow, it took me six weeks to leave the teejster but it is quite liberating and makes it all the better when you go home!!

Sounds like D is ahveing just as much fin with his steering wheel as Thomas is!!

We are going to do some finger painting once thomas wakes up - he has been asleep on my bed for the last hour and a half!! It is mums birthday tomorrow so we are going to do a card for her!!

Been to see vicky and chloe - they are doing well - it would appear Chloe doesn't really cry - not like her cousin then!!!

Off out for a meal tonight with my friend that I haven't seen in seven years!! Love being back down here!!!

good luck with the viewing Jw

V have taken some pics of D with car

been to boots bought a baby bouncer for £10 in clearnce not sure if thats a good price or not but D has been swimming been doing his under water practise at the pool now i feel more confident.
