I had a PCOS test a year ago now, which came back negative. I have a 3 - 4 day lh surge which is why I'm concerned.

If I've been tested for PCOS and it was negative, should I go back and do another test? Can PCOS occur later? Or once it's negative, does that mean you can't test positive for it again?

Thanks for all your help!

Just because you have a 3-4 day surge it doesn’t mean you have PCOS?!
You’ve been tested negative so I would just carry on doing what your doing.

If you are just getting the surge when you’re ovulating then this is pretty normal. It’s when you get a surge throughout the cycle at different times is when you should worry.
It’s probably nothing more than a longer LH surge.

Ah okay I see. Makes sense. Yes is only when ovulating. Thanks a lot!
