Telling people

Hello,
Has anyone else managed to tell anyone you are expecting without actually using words? I am almost certain I am pregnant (just waiting a couple more days to be able to get an accurate pregnancy test), but I have all the pregnancy symptoms and have missed my period. My husbands already managed to tell 2 of his friends without meaning to. They basically asked how I was, he said I've been poorly lately, being boys they joked around with him saying 'are you sure shes not pregnant', husbands response being silence. Luckily he's sworn them to secrecy so I hope they won't tell anyone. Has anyone else told people like this or had anyone work it out for themselves?

I was on my staff night out (we have ours in Feburary) and cause I wasn't drinking my work mates kept asking if I was pregnant, and althoufh I denied it (as I was only a few weeks) the llok on my face clearly confirmed it and against my wishes it was then announced to the whole pub... Had to make alot of phone calls after as I hadn't even told my cosest friends or some of my famly x

If uv already missed ur period then u don't have to wait a few days to test. A test would be accurate now x

I wouldn't tell anyone until youve got appositive test. I was over 3 weeks late last year, had the symptoms, the lot, but I was just late. I'd have looked a bit daft if I'd told people I was pregnant.

I was the same just before I got my BFP, I was almost 3 weeks late too, but it appeared eventually. Was very frustrating being so late and getting negative tests!!

Same as Cosmic, I wouldn't want to be telling people I was pregnant before I actually knew. And even then I'd keep it to myself for a while. x

I certainly wouldn't be telling anyone if you've not actually had a BFP.

We've all had months where we're convinced we were pregnant but weren't.

It's going to be upsetting and embarrassing telling people you weren't pregnant but they thought you were.

We've known for over 2 weeks and still won't be telling people for another 6.

My family guessed without me even knowing myself, in fact I adamantly denied it even though I had every symptom. However still not telling friends until I feel ready. Hope you can test soon so you know for sure!

Definitely don't tell anyone until its properly confirmed. There was one month I was CONVINCED I was pregnant but it turned out I wasn't after all

My MIL told me I was pregnant before I even took a test or had symtoms. She was feeling sick & ask me if I was I had no idea as was often late x
