Teletubbies??

Ok i swore when Emily was tiny that she would not watch this at all and i gave in for a bit of peace whilst doing stuff

Anyway have just being flicking through channels and it was on, the baby sun came on and Jack is sat dead still chuckling away to it, he never stays still on the floor,EVER

In fact he is sat talking to telly now

just thought i would share and wondered if any one puts programmes on for their LO

awwww bless him Dior loves telletubies, bear in big blue house balamory and fifi the flowertots.

i was going to start a thread on this as i read that children should watch tv for no longer then 1-2hrs a day????

Dior will be playing in the living room and if we are in all day all we have on is cbebies and she will play and watch tv ect its on all day about 8hrs. is this classed as watching to much tv??? its always on in the back ground if it takes her fancy she watchs it???

dior has a bed time show to we recorded it "bedtime stories"

she knows her lil routine. she has bath then watches the 15min show then bed

ohh and when the sun comes up Dior points and says "Arley" because he looks like Harley

Aimee is stange. I try to get her to watch them but she prefers adverts. She loves loan adverts especially picture loan. She even woke up the other day out of a deep sleep to watch it, Lol. I swear when shes bigger i'll be keeping the phone away from her.

 

Cbeebies is always on in the background in my house but Damine doesn't sit and watch it constantly. He loves Tellytubbies, Tikabilla and Balamory, and we sit and watch Big cook little cook together and pretend we're cooking (sad I know but he loves it )

joshua and liam watch the same episodes that Kieran used to watch

joshua loves boogie beebies, even do the exercising in his wheelchair, and liam loves to try and copy joshua if you hold his hands. liam seems to like the adverts with lots of music.

we have a few pictures on the wall from the beatles and theyre all bright colours and liam loves them.

Can I ask a wee q. Rebecca shows no interest in tv what so ever, never, is there something wrong with her? She is nearly 7 months but refuses to watch it and would rather be constantly stimulated by us and her toys.

Id love a baby that watched tv, least u get peace!

KX there is nothing wrong with Rebecca, she obviously has too much fun with you.

have you tried sitting her on your lap and watching something like The Fimbles and maybe you join in and hold her hands to make her clap and then maybe dance around with her.

sounds crazy but all my boys have loved this. (joshua still does).

davina hun I have tried everything (anything to get a moments peace) but she watches everything other than the telly! When I try and get her to focus on the tv, her eyes wander round the room and watches what everyone else is doing!

Dior always loves the beging tune i have to keep rewinding it lol she gets so excited. she loves the car insurance advert to where the dog nods and says "ohhhh yess" Dior copies and says "owwwwww yeshhh"

whose babies love the shielas wheels advert?
my friends baby damien is 13 months old and he loves it..when it comes on he cant take his eyes off the screen..its so funny he bops along to it!

i've heard that quite a few babies love this advert..must be coz its bright and the music is quite funky! lol

everytime it's on he will run (ok crawl ) and look at the tv then look at me with this huuuuuuuggggeeee smile and start clapping!!!!

Also me and hubby are ''Friends'' fans and watch it alot so i guess hassan just got used to the music - so whenever he hears it - he goes crazy clapping, laughing, smiling and all. it's hillarious

when kieran was four months old he loved the Freemans catalogue advert. we are talking 1995 here.

haha Lydia loves adverts too - all adverts though not just loan ads...she doesn't mind programmes, but she LOVES ads.

Every morning we watch Milkshake on 5 after I've taken Phil to work...
we catch the end of Hi5 (which I love myself haha), and then George Shrinks.

Brody doesn't really look at the TV yet, he sometimes pulls imslef up so his face is an inch away thought and I have to move him. He probably doesn't get interested because CeBeebies is never on in our house.... it not that I don't agree with it it's just that Mason loves his Boomerang

Seren isn't really that bothered by tv either Kx, she will look but then turn away. If she is sleepy she will watch her baby einstein dvd but only about a minute before she is asleep.

She loves MTV though as we dance to it.
