Jake has recently started watching the TV :? I know at this age its just the lights, colours and sounds that are attractive to him but Im a little concerned its going to be detrimental to his development or something.

I admit I am a bit of a telly addict and sometimes have it on for a bit of back ground noise. I like to spend a lot of time holding Jake and talking to him but its when I put him on the floor for him to thrash about he just looks at the telly (and 'chats' to it  )

All I can say is everything in moderation. A little bit of tv won't do any harm? I know Kai is a bit older, but he has it on for 30 minutes while I am getting ready in the morning and depending if we don't go out much, he could have 30 minutes on in the afternoon but that is only once a week or so.

I wouldn't worry about it hun, Harrison was the same at that age & now days he really isn't fazed by the TV at all, I think it was just the colours etc like you said!

Hi

Kadyn has started to do the same its cute but i also dont want him to get used to watching it so ive turned it off and put music on instead for backgroud noise. ( i know it dont harm them if they do watch it though ) :)
