teething necklace

We just got one in the post and i was wondering how many of you use one, and if you do....when do you take it off? i have heard of so many people letting them sleep in it, but that scares me having something around her neck at night.
I was thinking she could wear it in the day and ill remove it at night, or i could put it on her ankle or something....

Personally I've always taken Evie's off at night but I know there are some on here who leave them on 24 hours a day. If you are nervous take it off from round her neck and wrap it round her ankle under her sleepsuit, she won't be able to get at it then
