hi...

i have a full arm tattooed with a japanese theme, a black and gray angel on the top half of my arm,

korn logo on both wrists, a full leg of korn album covers, tribal on my shoulder, and a fairy on my lower back,

i think if there is something that you want enough you'll hack it... its not too bad for small ones but when your sat there hours and hours and their going over the same place...that hurts

the worse part for me was the inside of my elbow,

from working in a tattoo studio o kno for a fact that the worse places are...

i read somewhere that most tattoo places wont do a tattoo on your chest until youve had a tattoo somewhere else 1st because the pain is so bad

A lot of respectable places wont tattoo hands, necks or faces, for reasons that you cant hide them and may cause social problems.

a lot of tattooists wont tattoo chests for 2 reasons,

harder to cover ( especially women) and the skin is very stretchy so more likely to sag and reck the tat when older and also because its harder to tattoo there.

The latter being the main reason

my df's first tattoo was a full arm and chest and said that it hurt so much he wouldn't even think of it again (but was compleatly fine about the whole arm)

If anyone has any questions about tattoos ar piercings, i'd be more than happy to help....i miss it!

only stopped because it wasn't a stable enough profesion(sp?) to buy a house

wouldn't you do it as a sideline? we have tattooists who come to your home on an evening up here. easy tax free£?

I've got 7 and wouldn't consider going anywhere other than where I do. The thought of them being done at home is a bit odd to me but I know people who swear by it....

I almost had a tattoo done at a guys house. My friend had one done there and i was so stupid at the time i almost went for one too, got to his house and he'd just done a tattoo for a boy that was like 13. well dodgy guy. all i can say is, if your having anything like that done at home then make sure they have all the right certificates and stuff.

tell me how can i go from a 6mm to an 8mm i can never do it ive tried so much and is it true they never heal properly or do they go back normal size so long as u taper them back down?

iv got one on the bottom of my back, it wasnt too bad and i am a wimp so its cant be that sore!

my OH has one on his chest and he said it was really sore to get done!

Hi beckss,

ok, the best way to do it is to go up in 1mm's if your finding it difficult, its best not to try and shuv it a massive size diffrence (could result in tearing or blowout) also,

have a hot bath...the steam and hotwater makes the skin super stretchy,

depending on how big you go they will go back to a reasonable size... i had 16mm in at one point, now an 8mm, and that was with just leaving the plugs out, if you leave them out a few weeks they'll shrink down,

if you stay small (no bigger than an 8) heyll go back normal

it was no problem going up by 1mm a time but from 6mm they start going up by 2mms each time i only wanna be an 8mm but this 1 last 1 i cant get in grrrr
lol there are 7mms around but super rare and like 10 quid which isnt worth it lmfao
i cant wait to get myself 8mm leopard print plugs *dreams*

Becksss...try the bath, very stretchy...also if your finding it difficult you may have some scaring from a previous attempt,

vasaleane (sp?) is always good.

tapers are pretty good too

My tattoo is on my belly right by my left hip. It was fine until they did the bit right by the bone, that hurt! I loved it when I first got it done, it doesn't look so good along side the stretchmarks anymore! My only regret is getting it done somewhere I can't really show it off anymore. The pain was well worth it.

my friend has tattoos
they say the back is painful like the inner part of your back at the bottom
ill be ok i like pain that you get something from ( not in a freaky way)

i know what u mean lol not like banging ur head on a wall for pain ur actually getting a nice tattoo out of it lol

well obviously, i dont just sit and bang my head against the wall to feel thew pain.. im not that cool lol

Yeah, me neither. I have absolutely no tattoos as of yet, but I plan on getting one when I can really decide on a design.

I know someone with a skull tat, and it was apparently excruciating.
Definately understandable, hehe.
