I thought I had painted a good face on tonight but my husband keeps asking if I'm alright (didn't tell him about tests or bleeding yet), I haven't burst into tears yet so I'm doing better than I thought I would atleast! xx

Thanks Becky, we totally went for it this time and even spent 3 nights away relaxing over ov time, will definitely go for it again, might use the SMEP method which seems to be recommended post mc.. will see what hubby thinks. If we catch this cycle then we'd be due a few days after his birthday which would be nice!

What's your thoughts on a 'system' or 'plan' lol? xx

I'm so sorry about AF arriving hun, I also plan on using the SMEP this month, last month we only DTD twice the day before Ovulation due to illness, but I'm going to hopefully catch the egg this time

Thanks Lyndsey, I hope we both do soon. Having a chemical is a big worry of mine and I'm kinda of the mindset if I don't test early I'll never know? To me that feels like the better option. I can totally understand why you'd want the closure to know though!

I haven't done SMEP completely but started DTD on CD7 or 8, and every second day until Ov when I get a positive and BD every day. I don't know if there's an awful lot more I can do xx

well where do i start ive been trying to concieve with my OH but had a few dissapointing months where nothing has happened but this month has been a little different!

1-7 dpo nothing didn feel anything apart from a bit of creamy discharge

8 dpo, i couldnt stay awake no matter how hard i tried i just kept snoozing. also OH would be lying with his head on my belly and he kept claiming there was constant fluttering and bubbly noises coming from my belly. also very very gasy which is still going to this day.

9 dpo - had to take my bra off and go braless all day as the sides of my boobs were killing me and couldnt lean on them or lie on my sides as they felt very tender. also felt very sick everytime i lied down, and just could not get comfy.

10dpo today. went out for a walk earlier as part of my diet, nearly dropped asleep half way was shattered. nipples are very sore when touched. i had an itch on my boob went to itch it and rubbed against my nipples and felt like a burning sensation was horrid. very very dry mouth since yesterday no matter how much a drink it doesnt help gttt..

Sorry for the long message i just wanted to no if anyone knew what this all meant could i be preggo or is it because my period is due in 6 days, just seems weird because this does not usually happen before a period..

Anyone out there had similar symptoms and got their bfp?? thaanks guys

It all sounds very promising for you. Unforutnately though there is no way of telling unless you can do a test. Some do work from arouond 10DPO but it's recommended to wait until about 14DPO (I can guarantee that none of us are any good at that waiting game).

I would buy yourself a FRER and test in the morning or on Sunda. FX for you.

Just a quick update got a lovely surprise today my hubby bought me 2 clear blue digital pregnancy tests so I will be POAS in the morning if doesn't show by then I cant wait cos I will then know by then what happens.

can I just add is 3 years a long time or average time for anything to happen as ive had nothing not even a nearly in that time this is the first cycle ive felt different and had a tuggy feeling in tummy. I am 26 and Hubby is 22

Rosie it sounds promising. As Janine said it's hard to tell as some months I've had loads of symptoms and af has shown. My main symptom this time around was lots of cramping and tiredness. Have had the occasional wave of nausea too. Boobs haven't been sore yet but have got veins showing. When are you thinking of testing? I usually try and hold out til 11/12dpo to test.

Good luck with the smep ladies I tried it a couple of times but ironically the months we have tended to catch have been the months where I haven't used opks and where we haven't dtd as much. This cycle we dtd every other day although stopped cd16 and I think I ov'd later than I thought (possibly 17/18/19). Lots of people seem to catch with smep though so hopefully we will have lots of lovely lines to spot soon! Xxx

Have you been actively TTC for 3 years without any BFP? I would say, given how young you both are, that this is definitely a long time. How are you so patient? I was at the Dr after about 3 months ha ha.

I would say there isn't necessarily anything to worry about but I would definitely see your Dr if you've been trying that long.

Not posted much with doing chilled out ntnp but I'm getting puddled u would think id know been pregnant 5 times (3 early angels) didn't track ovalation so between 3 and 5 dpo ( I think from the signs) and had weird stomach twinges and sore boobs from last night especially the left one know testing is pointless n trying to ignore them as we are meant to b on if it happens it happens ��

thanks ladies we have a doctor appointment on Monday afternoon to see what we can do as I am getting very impatient now lol but it helps a bit because I work in childcare so I am around children all the time but it wont be the same as having your own ive always put it down to being on the pill since I was 12 so about 11 years I was on it and thought it would take ages for my body to readjust but since may last year I have been keeping note when my periods are due and symptoms before period and this month is definitely different xxx

Evening all X lots to catch up on, will keep me busy tonight! Hello to any new faces! I swear I still have pg symptoms when af is here! My tummy is sooooo bloated!! Too much curry and wine since af came I'm considering not trying this month. I'm booking a few days away in Spain with my sister and can't help but think it might be more fun if I'm not worrying about am I aren't I (plus some sangria might be in order!) not sure if I'll be able to resist ttc but think I'll try. Back to it then in March!! Will lurk around though and hopefully do some lovely line spotting! So, who is testing tomorrow? Jem, will you use your clear blues? V exciting!! X X X

aww hope you have a nice time in spain that will be a nice distraction I am testing tomorrow with the clear blue its the only ones Ive got but I am so nervous and thinking of doing it before the hubby goes to work so will be the back of 5/6 could your af just be a implantation bleed if your still having symptoms gl to you all xxx

Spain should be lovely becky and sometimes a little break from ttc does the world of good - you could always just ntnp though as a few drinks in the tww wouldn't hurt?!
