Symptom spotters anonymous lol

When did you come off the pill Summertime?

Is your back pain a dull ache at the bottom?

I dont think I'll go back on the pill as I still feel like its taking time for my body to adjust to it's natural cycle (I came off pill in October 16).I am still getting to know what my natural PMS symptoms are.

I am over analyzing everything too lol. The first month TTC i was obsessed in the 2ww, then the second month I had a lot going on I didnt even have time to think about it, and now here I am back to being obsessed a little!

I am SO tempted to buy a few cheapie tests in the £ shop today and test but think I will wait until AF comes or not....

Fingers crossed the back ache is a sign! I think it can be either af or early preg sign..lol along with everything haha typical!

Cm is back to creamy now so defo must of been ovulation i felt :D. I gave up on the opks lol as I ran out and decided not to buy more. I can tell from the ewcm and ovulation pains when it is and luckily i seem to be getting ewcm for quite a while before ov :) xx

yeah, I only stopped the pill in january and still seem to be having the side effects like sore nipples, and also got acne on my back which is gross - think it must be changes in hormones so hopefully will settle down.

If this if period signs I don't know how I'm going to cope with it every month!

L& P - what are your cycles like post bc? mine are all over the place, on CD32 currently. I think once my body regulates and I know what day my AF is 'due' then it will be easier to resist. As it stands just doing ICs every couple of days from CD28 until AF arrives.

Its weird as I'm not generally an obsessive type person but there is something about TTC that bring it out in me!!

I'm TTC #2 as have a son who is 3 1/2, took me 18 months to convince my husband to try for #2 so desperate for it to happen quickly whilst pretending to him I am totally chilled about it!!

We are DTD every other day from once AF departs, and with long cycle this is a lot of BD'ing!! Don't fancy temping, have dabbled with OPKs but decided not worth to stress too much about them for first few months as on't thinbk its unsual to ovulate early/late/not at all after BC.

I'll be looking out for your BFPs :-)

Cant blame you for giving up on OPKS, I have only ever used two and lost my patience with them lol.
Last cycle I went by my EWCM and as soon as I noticed that I DTD ass often as possible until it was gone lol.x

I only really started tracking cycles properly since January and my cycles have been ranging from 33 to 38 days, periods tend to be lighter and have no major PMS symptoms, however I am starting to keep a note on my period App this month of things I have been experiencing in case I dont get BFP, then I can put them down to PMS.
I was on the pill since I was 16 and 33 now so I cant even remember what my natural cycle was like as it was that long and hope I haven't ruined my body.

Funny you mention acne, a week or so ago I got a few tiny pimples on my chin which I never get and thought it odd! I have almost convinced myself it was due to conception (hopefully!)

HA HA yes I am trying to let on to DH that I am laid back about it as we agreed to 'see what happens'. The first month I was symptom spotting and googling all the time!! Like you say as well, its out of character for me as well!

I bought a basal thermometer but to be honest I really dont have the time and patience to be doing that every morning before getting out of bed! I do reckon I ovulate later than 'normal' as cycles are a bit longer.

It will be exhausting DTD every other day when you have a 3 yr old! Better chance of TTC #2!
Did it take you long to conceive your first little one?x

I started it at 16 aswell and 32 now. Started taking it straight after the birth so my period last month was my first natural one in 16 years!! Hoping not as bad every month.

My first pregnancy actually wasn't planned * please don't hate me I know how annoying this is when you're desperately trying but I don't feel right lying about it.

I feel so incredibly luckily to have my little boy and would love for him to have a sibling so I should be casual about it but I'm totally not! I think TTC is an emotional rollercoaster of excitement/disappointment/joy so it's great to have found this forum with lots of lovely people on to go through it together.

I have let slip to a couple of friends about TTC and I really regret that now as they are already asking me if I've got any news which quite annoying but I guess its my fault for blurting it out!

LOL of course wouldn' t hate you! Its totally natural you want a sibling for your son :-).

I dont think I will ever go on the pill again and DH said he would like us to have children in quick enough succession (I agree) so no BC to think about for a long time hopefully lol.

I have to say my eyes have been well opened and admittedly I have been fairly naive to a point with regards to the whole baby making process! Although it can be a rollercoaster I am also seeing it as a learning curve in getting to know my body and being more mindful.

I havent really told any of my friends but some of them keep asking anyway which is really irritating. I am so glad I found this forum to come to as pretty much all of my friends either have kids or are pregnant, but Im quite private so would rather ask questions, e.t.c. here.

xx

I have a 3 month old lol!! It took us 3 years for her though because of various things like my cycles being screwy because of pcos etc and then we had several miscarriages. So it didn't feel right preventing at all and we would like a small age gap. Hoping it's easier this time! It's super hard being able to dtd sometimes hahaha its literally such a rush during her naps lol!!
Defo no hate here summertime!
I feel that way about having such a young baby like people will be annoyed at me in ttc or if i moan about AF coming lol. It was such a long horrid journey first time though! Xx

If I was in your position and had all of that difficulty TTC your first one, then I would do the same. FX for you and I heard that after having a bay you are actually more fertile so you never know! Baby dust your way! xx

I agree, I was ignorant to the impact bc can have on cycles etc.

CD33 today - and absolutly no symptoms to obsess over!!! I guess I must have ovulated by now? Wondering whether can have DH a rest as it is hard to fit in DTD every other day - fine at the weekend but with both working full time and having a 3 year old often knackered once get to bed.

If cycle same length as last month would be due on Monday, ICs arrived yesterday so probably do a sneaky test on Sunday morning if not showing any signs - last month had spotting a few days before.

L&P - when are you testing?? xx

It would be quite rare for you NOT to have ovulated by now, especially if you're due in the next few days.
Its probably better you have no symptoms so you're not constantly wondering and obsessing lol. FX crossed though and keep us posted how testing goes on Sunday!

I am CD35!! Due AF today and no sign at all of it coming, but I never usually get PMS cramps anyway. These past few days my boobs have felt so painful at times and just weird. I have small ones lol and they are usually just tingly before AF but never like this. I also felt a wave of nausea this morning at one point and also randomly felt like crying on my way to work this morning! I do often get emotional before AF so I dont know if its that or possible preg symptom.
Annoyingly mother nature seems to have PMS and pregnancy signs quite similar!

I have only one test at home which is the FRRR so I am almost too scared to use it today and going to hold out until Sunday, maybe Monday if I can hack it and AF doesnt arrive.
But SO tempted to go out to Boots here at lunchtime and buy their own brand of 5 days early test and do it in work?? Aaghgh debating with myself here!
Think I should just sit tight?xx

I think you'll of defo ovulated by now summertime so can stop dtd :)
2dpo today! My boobs hurt but quite normal for me after ov lol wont pay attention to it as a symptom till theyre super sore. Expecting a lot of pms anyway as I felt awful during AF and then had a lot of ovulation symptoms too! Xx

I have no patience though lol I'll prob start cheapies at like 8 dpo haha. With Imogen I had a trigger shot so I tested it out so I knew any lines after would be real. So I ended up testing everyday from ov lol! Xxx
