Woke up at about 5am with very sharp pains and brown spotting at 8 am My hopes are fading fast x

Girls, question for you?
Is it possible to get symptoms at 3-4 DPO i.e before implantation? The medical sites I've been reading suggest that the hormones don't start until implantation occurs and a 'connection' is made, as such no symptoms would be possible.. However I'm sure weird things are going on. Just wondering if they're all in my head. From reading your comments it seems that I'm not alone, you all seem to say that you notice things quite early on. The discrepancy in this confuses me.
I'd be interested to hear your thoughts xx

Aw hun I really hope it's just your bean getting nice and comfy - you get all sorts of weird twinges and aches and pains all the way through pregnancy so it doesn't mean you're out xxx

I was googling the same thing this cycle as I don't remember getting symptoms so early when ttc last time around. I think you can get symptoms that early but it might be more due to the change in hormone levels than a definite sign that you're pregnant. The body is a weird and wonderful thing though so who knows! Xxx

Morning ladies. I've woken up with blimming thrush this morning
Urgh haven't had it in years and had forgotten how uncomfortable it is. Going to have to pop out to get something I think as it's pretty unbearable.

Got a bit of lower back ache but nothing else to report this end.

Hope everyone else is doing ok. I'm either 8 or 9dpo today and desperate to test!! I got up and peed quickly so I couldn't change my mind haha xxx

Oh no that's awful, I hope you can get some medication, but on the bright side ......I have heard it can be a pregnancy symptom

TMI I have a lot of CM, watery/creamy ...around 8dpo I tend to 'dry up' so I will see what happens in the next few days, I've heard when your pregnant your CM increases ?? the things we think about when TTC :rotfl:

xxxx

Hopefully the cm is a good sign clover! !

Hoping the thrush is a sign then!! No idea when I am going to get chance to get to my doctor about it because I'm back in work Monday. I only work Monday Tuesday Wednesday so usually try and keep all appointments for my days off.
Xxx

It all depends i think on how sensitive you are to the hormone really

Thanks girls

Urgh the af cramping has started, plus a nice load of lower backache. Can't remember if I ever get cramping at 8dpo so might mean something or might not. Why is time going so slowly...??? Xxx

I've felt really sick today and sorry for tmi I've had a white creamy discharge, some cramps but not too many and still got the backache. I'm 9dpo today x

Hope the cramping and backache is implantation and not AF
8/9 dpo I'd a bit early for AF cramps isn't it??

Well my boobies have started hurting today , I'm 7dpo so about right they will get increasingly sore up to AF now. ..how sad that I know the signs
I wish my stupid body would do what it sent to do :(

xxxxx

I hope they aren't bad signs, my back has been aching all week, my usual AF signs are horrendous cramps a few hours before it starts oh and I crave sweet food a week before x

I got a bloody taste in my mouth yesterday when I woke up, but not today.
I am very emotional and teary ATM.
My cm is shiny and clear when I wipe. But looks like dry white patch on my knickers ???

Aw hun doesn't necessarily mean af though- it's impossible to tell at this point whether it means af or bfp so keep hopeful and positive. Really hope this is your cycle. And even if it isn't, hopefully you'll get a strong ovulation next cycle too and you can bd a bit more and definitely catch that eggy :-) keeping my fx for you.

I'm sure I never usually get af cramps this early - usually it's about 24 hours before af but then who knows.

4 sleeps til we test!!! Xxx

I'm trying hard not to symptom spot (although would be a little early for me as only 3-4 dpo). Last month I was convinced that every twinge, ache and sniffle was implantation/pregnancy related, so don't want to set myself up for disappointment again. It's difficult though.

That's what mine is like too x

Ha most of us have been symptom spotting since 2dpo so 3/4 isn't too bad!!! And yes I know what you mean - sometimes it's best to just try not to think about it. Part of me is looking forward to going back to work as think that will distract me and stop me obsessing so much!! Xxx
