Swing for over 9kg?

Hi Ladies,

Really want to get a swing for Joey but he is already 13lbs 11oz at 7 weeks old and most of the swings seem to have a 9kg weight limit, which is about 19lbs, that only gives him 5lbs growing room.

If I could find one that goes up to 25lbs that'd be great, any ideas? xx

If it helps, my little one was 14lbs at 8 weeks old and now she's just shy of 20lbs at almost 22 weeks. Their weight gain does slow down a lot. So you may find that your lo won't get to 9kg for another 3 months or more.

However, in answer to your actual question, no sorry I don't know of any
When your lo gets strong enough, the fisherprice jumperoo is amazing!

Weight gain dies slow down a lot. My wee girl is just over 18lbs at 9 mnths old

Think there is a fisher Price one that does them to a bit older. Think Gayle and Nat have it, cant remember what its called x

I'll have a look at that! We bought a bouncer for our boy when I was pregnant, but he loves being rocked and I wish I'd got a swing now. I didn't see the point cos he's 17lbs already and about 75cm tall at four months. Might look at that one if it's designed for toddlers too.

We had the newborn to toddler rocker, but to be honest by the time he was that weight, he was far happier sat playing with toys and trying to get on the move so it wasn't used much xx
