So i got sent home from work this afternoon as my ankles doubled in size. They were slightly swollen anyways...
Have kept them raised since being home, is there anythng else anyone can suggest as im not sure if to go back into work tomorrow and have same thing happen x

Hey, I havnt had this happen to me, but 2years ago I had a pregnant employee get really bad swollen ankles. I sent her home, and sure she rested up but took a couple of days off. Could you maybe even try and do a half shift? See how you get on?x

Mine are the same. There's not alot you can do about it I'm afraid as its water retention. They actually recommend drinking water and cutting down on salt. Hasn't helped me though lol just keep them raised and avoid tight shoes xx

I remember them so painful the only thing the mw said helped was delivering baby. Keep them raised and rest up x

Mine are like my grans lol. I'm on my feet all day and this last week I've got overhangs where my ankles used to be, they have gone a bluish colour and my feet feel so tight it feels like they could pop..... Bad times I've got 4 weeks left at work but not sure I'm gonna get that far. Can it be dangerous being that swollen?? X

press the ankles in if they bounce back quickly and dont leave an indent then they are fine if they do then its time to contact your mw to make sure nothing untoward like pre-e is developing ...same goes for hands and face as these are also signs of pre-e developing.

My legs are starting to swell and I sit down all day! On Monday when I got home it looked like I still had socks on they were so chubby and shiney. They do go down though when I put them up for a bit but like pregpixie76 said I'm keeping an eye on my hands just in case, it's hard to tell with my face becasue I have gained weight and I look like a little chubby hamster I keep telling people I'm having triplets and growing the other two in my cheeks!!! hahaha x
