It is a huge privilege to be doing this thread!! I will post updates on this post as they come! Good luck Sugar on baby boy number 4! How exciting!!
8.53am - began bleeding heavily. Phoned midwife who said it may be heavy show mixed with waters. Need to go down ASAP. Baby will be here today! Just waiting for sister to come to look after children.
10.25 - had a Canula put it due to blood loss and history of hemorrages. They aren't sure what caused it yet. Waiting to be examined now.
11.45 - been examined. Bleeding has stopped. They are monitoring baby as he wasn't happy earlier, but much better now. If there's another bleed they will do a section, if not they will induce later today. Feeling anxious!!
16.15 - baby is doing well on monitor. Sugar is not feeling too good and having some contractions. Hoping she labours naturally!
18.30 - not much progress. Walking about, trying to kick start things but not having much luck. Waiting for doctor to do their rounds to see what the next step is.
23.20 - had another bleed. They are monitoring baby before starting induction ASAP.
12am - induction tablet inserted. Will be examined in 6 hours.
Thursday
3.30am - feeling some cramps, baby is doing well on monitor. Trying to rest but it's too hot!!
6am - had second tablet put it. Starting to get uncomfortable. Also annoyed that things ended up this way. Baby still doing well.
12.30 - have text sugar but not had a response, which is unlike her! Fingers crossed she's too busy having a baby, or even better - baby cuddles!
13.30 - short text from Sugar simply saying 'in a lot of pain!' And she will update when she can. She's so close!!
Friday
4.30 - he's here! Unfortunately there were complications and Sugar ended up having an emergency c-section. But they are both ok now!! She has said that she will update with the full story when she's able to as she's feeling very overwhelmed at the moment xxxx
