Like this pregnancy is flying by! I joined the forum at 13weeks pregnant and all of a sudden, were halfway there with an all clear anomaly scan AND we've ordered our nursery furniture!! (doesn't get delivered til October but still V exciting!) I'm looking pregnant now rather than just a heffalump so I'm feeling really positive!!

Totally pointless thread, I just felt that a nice, happy thread would be good where I'm not feeling grotty or sick or worried would be Good. Haha. Xx

Ah, it's great knowing you're at/past the half way mark isn't it?
I feel like a heffalump at the minute, but I can see a definite pregnant belly, which is awesome!
Glad you've ordered your nursery furniture all coming together now?

It's all painted and carpet comes on sat then its just dressing it etc. very exciting! Don't get me wrong, I'm still huge but ppl are saying they can tell its baby belly not just chunky monkey so makes me smile. Haha. I can't get over how quick its all going, seeing tickets at 14/15/16wks and them realising oh god I'm past that!! How you getting on with preparing hun? Did you have a good sift through the clothes?

Can, how's it been treating you? Bet you can't wait to see bubs again! X

I thought it would start to drag again after my 20 week scan but I am happy to report time has flown by since then too - hope it does for you too x

Yay!!! Glad you are having a good time of it! and great news on your scan and furniture ordering - I have been too scared to order anything big yet but had a scan today to check my cervix length which is perfectly fine (yay) and its closed (double yay) and she did the measurements that she could which was all normal (baby wouldn't give a clear view of one foot, one ventricle and its face - so going to have this done at anomaly scan next week) so think I might go order some big stuff now (i.e. pram, cot etc)! Exciting times! Do you know what you are having? We are staying team yellow so think we're going to make our nursery a zoo/animal theme, xx

It's our first big purchase and I was waiting til after scan which was fri but sale ended Sunday so thankfully we got in just in time and paid our deposit. we stayed team yellow but I've found a gorgeous theme for the bedroom, its called 'Herb's garden' by lollipop lane. It's a stripy zebra type, quite simple but a flash of colour. why did you need cervix checking etc (if you don't mind me asking?)

I've just been informed that we've got out in depth heart scan on Thursday at the specialist hospital so will be interesting to see bubs in 3D. Xx

Wow - 'herbs garden' sounds amazing MrsTopher, Exciting! I hope your in-depth heart scan goes well, Like you say - it'll be amazing seeing baby in 3D! I got my cervix length measured because I had two lletz treatements about 2 years ago which is supposed to shorten your cervix but I must've had a pretty long one to begin with because mine is fine apparently, Eeek! Can't believe we are discussing nursery themes btw - its all starting to feel real! xx
