Strange ache

So this may seem a little random but since yesterday afternoon I've had the strangest feeling in my right arm. It's like numb but tight and tingly from just above my elbow to my fingers. Feels like I've been sleeping on it, but I've not. Felt it after work. Haven't banged it or anything either.
Done the silly thing of googling it , but seen itay be carpal tunnel? It is really uncomfortable and boarder line painful, any one else suffered anything similar or know anything about carpal tunnel?

I was going to suggest carpal tunnel myself. I know someone who developed this in pregnancy which is quite common and it got to the point where she couldn't really feel her fingers at all as they were always numb, she had to have surgery on it after babies were born and now all is fine. Hopefully it isn't that but if it persists I would speak to your GP hun x

Does sound a little bit like carpel tunnel syndrome, I had it quite badly in my first pregnancy, feels like really bad pins n needles, affects three of fingers & most of your hand.mi got splints to wear but to be honest they didn't really help, it started around 28 weeks last time & got progressively worse till baby was born, took about 4/5 weeks till after baby arrived for it to be completely gone. I was worried about being able to manage baby with it as towards end it was so bad I could not do buttons & kept dropping things! So far I've been lucky this pregnancy as I've no sign of it yet. Best bet is to say it to MW next time you see her.
