stomach twinges - what's normal?

I had a lot of period type cramps last week - not sore or painful quite light - and had a sore hip on Friday night and Saturday. It actually stopped me going asleep and I've had nothing since.
Is it normal to have these cramps every now and again and then nothing?

yes hun its completely normal i had them a lot up till i was about 14 weeks then they eased off a bit still get them now but not as much they say its all your ligaments stretching if pain gets worse or stays for long time or you have any bleeding with it you should get it checked out though xxxx

As rach said they are normal and just another pg symptom, when I first got them I was worried and rang the out of hours midwife number I was given at my first appointment and was told what rach has already said that they are ligament stretching pains, nice aren't they?!

yep me too.... i get them! quite low down. I asked the MD and she said it's everthing stretching and making room for little chick..

nothing to worry about.
