I know I'm a lil paranoid, but it's my first bub so don't know what's normal and what's not! For the past 2/3 days, I've had quite strong twinges low down. they aren't painful - but I'm very aware they are there. Almost like a really light stitch?? I've not had any bleeding at all, but is this something to be worried about or is it just baby growing/implanting/whatever s/he's up to? I'm 9+2 at the minute. Thanks girls xx

hi!
I've had these quite a lot from quite an early stage and the midwife told me it was perfectly normal and was just things stretching and growing to accomodate for the little one growing... hope this helps hun xx

I am getting them the now some day's its more than other days, so i would say its normal. :)

Yep I'm having the same, and if I stretch up too high it feels like all my muscles are gonna just go 'twang!'

Usually small cramps (similar to period pain) are called implantation cramps. I had them real bad when we were about 5-6 weeks gone. Was doubled over in pain for a good 15 mins one aft, if i'd have known we were preg at that time i'd have been convinced we were MC, was excrutiating.

This website is pretty helpful -

Thanks so much girls! Glad it seems to be normal. Not had any pains today so far. I'm just sooooo paranoid. I burst out crying last night because I suddenly realised I didn't feel sick. Lol, my husband was like "well, i don't know what to do to make you feel better - i thought not feeling sick was good" bless him!! still don't feel sick, but boobs are still a bit sore and i feel knackered so hoprefully all is okay. This first tri is a nightmare, i've never worried so much in my entire life!!!

i'm paranoid too but that link really put my mind at ease, thanx Tasha! I read earlier that from week 22 you are supposed to feel the baby kick once every 24hrs.. I dread to think how paranoid I will be then!! :oooo:

I've been having these too since the beginning and it's reassuring to know that others have been experiencing this!

SPC xx
