I just felt my foof for the first time since the birth... its just been too sore til now

And i have a massive tear :( and i can feel it :( and i want to know if its always going to feel so differently to the rest and am i always going to notice it so much?

it feels awful :(

 I have yet to experience this - Im sure with time it will heal nicely, are you having salt baths/lavender or anything like that? xx

i had a massive tear too, 2 holes became 1 so to speak (uuurgh I know) and I don't think I ever dared touch tbh. Healed fine tho.

Only thing is, i am a bit paranoid it looks awful (I won't even look now) cos if I go for a smear or when m/w's examined me, they always say "oooh you tore really bad didn't you!" Erm yea, actually, I noticed that too lol"!

I remember panicking about this when i first felt my tear :S it never goes back to completely normal obviously but it does get much better. It is pretty much the same now but I can feel where the tear was if that makes sense?

so it feels like a hole and not broken? because thats what scares me, when i feel my foof now it feels like its a polo thats been broken rather than a complete thing... and thats terrifying! i want me fanny back!

lol it will get much better over the next few weeks! more like a polo with a dent if that makes sense haha it honestly wont be as bad as u think it will be, i was still panicking 2 months afterwards but its so much better now!

polo with a dent sounds loads better than this! Its terrifying!

thanks ladies - what a worry eh! to reach down to feel your foof and your foof is no more!

I got an episiotomy with my first child (a little over a year ago) and yes it healed ok, but if I touch it I can still feel where the scar is and what I hate most is the inside. you can really feel a rigde, and that will never go away, also my menstrual cup doesn't fit that great (leaks sometimes).

but I heard with natural tears it heals much better because they are not cut but torn (if that makes sense).
