I would say it took about 6 weeks to be practically pain free.
I really understand how it feels! Sitting up hurts, laughing hurts, coughing hurts, standing up hurts. It all felt to me like i was ripping apart. Not nice at all!
If you're worried at all keep asking MW to check it for you as she'll know if anything needs to be done.
Def try the salt, tea-tree oil is good too - in the bath i mean
It does get better, i felt like it'd never stop hurting but it does xxxxxxx

I tried anything and everything. Lol.
My bleeding was really heavy for about 4 weeks! It stopped at about 7 weeks.

You'll know when it's healing because you will get an intense itch that feels more uncomfortable than the stinging but not painful IYKWIM?![]()
