Sterilising bottles and teats etc

When do i need to start sterilising my bottles and dummies etc?
Should i wait till i have him and ask my mum to do it while i am in hospital or do it before or wait till i get home with him and do it then and use one of the pre sterilised bottles i have in the meantime?.

When i was dicharged from the hospital they gave me some bottles of made up formula... so i had enough for that day so i had time to sterlise and make up my own... also my ex's mum worked in scbu and she gave me some more..

Yeah I'd say this too as they only stay sterilised for about 3 hours.

They only stay sterilized for 3 -4 hours, ao get sum1 to do them for you before you get home

you could ask your mum but we waitied till got home then did them but we got some made up formula from hospital when left to last us for the day

I didnt bf last time around, but while i was waiting for stephens bottle it was easier to put him on the breast while waiting for the bottle, he was screaming too loudly for my liking!

The hospital do provide little jar like bottles of formula of your choice and will give you a teat that fits on top of it and come sterilized out of a little pack.
Just nick some of these before you leave hospital.
