thank you booked an early scan for when im 5 weeks 5 days. just to give us peace of mind

That's very early for a scan hun, you most likely won't see anything and it could be a waste of money (and a bit disappointing for you). Could you make it after 6 weeks when you'll have the chance of seeing a heartbeat? Xx

I was going to say the same thing MrsS, I've had early scans in the past and had to go back and forth causing more stress after a heartbeat wasn't seen. Definitely worth going around 7 weeks. We will be 8+1 at ours. X

It's the only date I can do, it's more to make it more real for me and my partner. Being a wedding photographer and working full time mon-fri it's very hard to fit in appointments when trying to keep away from work until 12 weeks
