sperm age??

this is a strange ques that my friend asked me and i have no idea so wondered if u ladies did.
if u dnt bd for a couple of weeks then do bd on ovulation wat are the chances of conceving as her hubby is in army and has been away then wen he got home they bd but shes not hopefull this month as she said it was old sperm!!! does this matter does it make it weaker being older if u get me.

i told her i would see wat u girls think so ???

ive got no idea!!!! surely there would have been 'more' sperm if he hadnt ejaculated in a few weeks, but i duno if u could call it old??? lol i have no idea hun sorry! just hope theyr good swimmers

Hi, when you have a sperm test they say that if the sperm is older than 5 days to ejaculate the old sperm out and then have the test no longer than when the sperm is 2 - 3 days old for it to be at its most fertile. Hope this helps x
