Long story short lo started getting blisters on her forehead filled with clear liquid that weeped and then the skin would peel once dry...this spread to upper body. We were admitted to hospital. She never had any temp or didnt appear unwell at all.

Docs put cannula on after many attempts :'( several times in our stay and eventually gave up on day 5 and sent home with oral meds. Swabs and bloods came back normal.

last day they got concerned about her heart rate as is on the higher side of normal and when crying etc goes up to 180/190 but I told them it was like that when she was inside and heart was scanned by specialist and all normal but we now have to go back to have it scanned and they also want an echo done.

anyone had any experience of this?

Hope your lady is ok, let us know how you get on, hopefully there just being over caucious re heart, i remember you got in chked before and perhaps shes sensitive skinned, my daughters hand blister if she gets any anti bac hand foam/ wash / soap on them ( takes a week to show tho)

How is it going? It sounds scary, hope it's sorted. Just wanted to mention that I've heard of symptoms like those with food allergies.

Well we have been home a week now and off ab's (thank goodness as diarrhoea and sore bum!) Blistering has not returned. So all good. Got scan for heart on 27th December. Im confident that they will find nothing wrong with it :)

Oh yayy great things have improved and looking good xx

Let us know what happens with the scan, but if things are still good it looks like it was just a once off.
