hope that helps

THANK U HUN
I HAD A MEETING YEST AND COZ I WORK ILL GET HARDLEY NE HOUSING BENIFIT AND I HVE LIL CHANCE OF GETTING A COUNCIL PLACE, AFTER PAYING BILLS ETC IT LOOKS LIKE ILL ONLY BE LEFT WITH LIKE £80 A MONTH  AND THATS IS AT A PUSH ME BEING GENEROUS WITH BILLS ETC

Department of Health and Social Security govern any benefits such as income support.
Housing Benefit is run by the council and depends on whether you get the other benefits or have a low income.

I only have a small bedsit so dunno if your bills will be the same as mine. I pay everything on payment cards per week or fortnight, so it's really easy to budget rather than be surprised by a bill.

TV licence £5 a fortnight
water £4.50 a week
phone/broadband about £20 a fortnight
lekky meter (don't have gas) - bout £12 a week but not sure about that one as I just shove in as need be:)

also my HB cheques I run strangely, think because you get 28 days so I have to make up the extra 3 each month- about £25. But that every 6 months one of the cheques falls so I don't need it and get £160 extra to spend that fortnight :)

If you work perhaps you're entitled to some tax credits or something? Also if you have any health problems, claim for them. Lots of people don't know what they're entittled to so don't get all they should. The DSS will lie and they won't think outside the box such as encouraging you to claim Disability Living Allowance if you're entitled.

I havent had a utilty bill since since i moved in here
except BT & AOL
I think matthew homes are still paying

yes what about tax credits? They should top up your wages  and your water bill varies place to place so check out with your local water company.

For my bills I pay monthly:

council tax £140
water £61
gas & electric I dunno I haven't had a bill for these yet since we moved in
internet & cable telly £25

My house is in band E

for my last house we used to pay monthly:

council tax £60
water, gas, electric £20 each

that house was in band A
