Basically you get 90% of your wage for the 1st 6 weeks of maternity leave and then smp of £112 a week thereafter - is that right?????

I can get occupational maternity pay from weeks 7- 20something from my employer on top of smp but that's only if I go back for a minimum of 3 months and I'm probably not going back!!!

Have I got this right??? rubbish isn't it!!!

that's spot on hon. the OMP depends on companies - mine's pretty decent and doesn't ask me to pay it back but it only goes up til week 13...
i'm just hoping that the SMP goes up in the april budget...
