My baby daughter Lily is 2 weeks old today. Since last Tuesday she has had almost permanent snuffles which are worse at night and stop her from sleeping properly. We have tried saline drops and a nasal aspirator but can't remove much of the mucus. She doesn't seem to have a cold and is feeding fine. Did anyone else experience this? Do you have any advice or suggestions

Thanks

Allie

DD has permanently had many boogies hidden in her nose but it hasn't interrupted her sleeping and we haven't had to try the saline. I thought babies sneezed if they needed to get them out. Check with your health visitor about what to do and maybe raise the cot/crib/moses basket at the head end.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We'll try raising the crib tonight and see if that helps.

There are some infant massage techniques that help to move mucus maybe you could search google to see if you can find anything?
