If Jack wakes before 6am I bring him into bed with me for a cuddle and a snooze. If he wakes up after 6am we get up. I love co-sleeping with him for a few hours but understand people being too scared to do it.
Jack's going into his room in the next few weeks and i'm planning to stop the co-sleeping before he gets to used to it because a little boy I childminded still co-sleeps with his Mum & Dad and he's nearly 8 years old!!! Jack will just have morning cuddles with us when he goes into his own room x
tbh we do this to but i'm normally awake and Flynn is drifting in and out of sleep and i just like to lay there watching him!
also, after reading the little debate in the "sleeping through the night thread . . . i'd just like to say that, as a species that evolved and spent many thousands of years sleeping in caves ect we wouldn't have survived if we couldn't co-sleep safely as it would have been to cold for the baby to be separate from us!!!! monkeys co-sleep in trees quite well so i'm sure we can manage it in a nice warm flat bed lol!
