Sleeping with baby report! Read this....

a mother naturally makes a C shape around her baby :) Liam wouldnt have been able to roll on Jasper if he tried (mind you the bond between them is strong enough that i didnt have to worry about that)

Oscar sleeps in the middle of us, or attached to me, my little limpet! When he sleeps on his back he sleeps with legs spread wide apart as he can lol and when he sleep on his side he makes an L shape with body and legs lol He's funny. We're gonna sort a side car cot out soon so we can start weaning him into his own bed, but only because of me being pregnant again and the room for the new bump. But we won't force him out, it'll be in his own time and he's happy in his own bed. I get woken more by OHs snoring than LO.

Dragonfly Fi, where did you get your cot from coz I can't find anything that's suitable atm xxx

Its just a cot bolted to the bed... nothing special about it, we bought it for 35quid from ebay

I Think Liam put two L shaped brackets on it so it was sturdy as a standalone without a third side, but you can literally just bolt it to the bed if you have a wooden bed :) I can get some more info from Liam about how to bracket it so it works if you want me too? I will take some more piccies of the cot too in that case so you can see what we mean x

Thanks hun. All the actual cosleeper cots I seen are way way expensive and don't look like they can fit a 10 month old anyways. Was looking at normal cots, but couldn't work out if LO would fall between cot and bed lol. didn't even think about actually attaching it. Think that is the route to go down defo. xxxx

If you dont want to perminantly bolt it (therefore making two holes in the bed) you can use 3 very sturdy G clamps, more expensive, but not perminant
