i have been having trouble sleeping and can only get to sleep on my back but in one of the books m/w gave me it says not to lay on back for more than 20 mins is this true any ideas thanks xx

I was told to change position if it made me feel funny. You can always prop a pillow under your right side as this tilts the placenta. I think when prenant you should get to sleep however you can, I slept on my stomach the whole way through.

thanks i just want to sleep all the time. and just realised ive moved up a box yay getting there its going so quick xx

There is some logic behind that since the weight of LO will press down on your major artery.

Although I would have thought it wouldn't be too bad until later in PG. :?

I try to fall asleep on my side but often I find myself waking on my back, not much you can do to prevent that really is there?!
