sick of iron tablets?

I had to take iron tablets in previous pregnancies & found them horrendous. This time round I'm using "Spatone" which is in the form of a liquid and is 100% natural - so no side effects like you get with the pills.

Down side is they're not available on prescription, but well worth the money in my opinion...thought i'd share for those fellow anemics!!

32 days now lol, i am fed up of taking the tablets but only because i am on 3 a day i am lucky got no side effects from them though, still slightly aneamic on 3 day a day so may try the spatone and see if they are any better.

I take 2 spatones a day in total, will be interesting to see what blood count is in a few weeks as the tablets didnt seem to help at all with previous pregnancies. x x

what do they taste like are they horrible or ok?

They're sachets of water, about an eggcup full, tastes of metal, not pleasant, but I make sure I've got orange juice ready to down straight after!
No, unfortunately not available on prescription, got mine from Tesco, off the shelf. X

aww and do u guys find them better than the tablets? i might give them a bash x

I definitely do. I felt no better on iron tablets with added side effects, but been on these for over a month now and been fine x
