She rolled today for the first time  . She's been getting stuck on her side for a few weeks but today she got all the way over. Should I now be getting rid of the cot top changer?
Also, she's been trying to sit up in her bouncy chair even though she's strapped in so would you advise not using it anymore? She's getting long and her head is nearly touching the top anyway, I haven't put her in it much recently as I'm worried she's going to tip out the side while trying to sit up.

It's up to you really. We just change her wherever we can pin her down now  If you're still comfortable than you hold her and keep her still long enough to use it then there's no problem still using it. However if you think she'll roll off it then it might be wise to try something else.

We stopped using the bouncy chair at exactly the point you've just mentioned, tried her in it again a couple of weeks later in case it was just a phase and she lifted her legs right up out of the straps to escape it

If you have raised sides on the change mat it should be fine a while longer. Galen has been able to roll for months but its only in recent weeks he has attempted to roll over the side or turn over while on the change mat.

Mind you, we never bothered with a cot top changer. Just a mat on the bed.

As for the bouncer, when our LO started sitting forward and leaning over the side we stopped putting him in it. He was trying to do this all the time and it became unsafe for him.

im still using willow changing table although we are decorating her room in a couple of weeks so will be getting rid of it but i will be lost without it.

I still use ryan's cot top changer, dunno where id be without it!!!

I hate changing her on the floor as it hurts my knees and the doc said not to crawl around the floor as that is why they hurt (chambermaids knee :? ). Will just keep hold of a leg whilst changing her on it from now on. I had to change her on the floor at my mum's earlier and she was rolling whithout her nappy on so can see shes going to a little monster from now on  .
