for the past 48 hours or so madams movement has been few and far between, like i havent felt her for the past 2 1/2 hours.... shud i be worried? :S

not really your due soon aren't you? the baby's probably running out of room lol have you tried havin a cold drink? if not ring the hospital i used to always go for lack of movement
hope that helps

They say any doubts on movement should be checked out asap, especially near the end!

I wouldnt risk it hun, its probably fine, but I know that limited movement can be a worry in the final few weeks.

Try eating something stimulating like choccie or drinking a cold drink and if that doesnt work id call your maternity unit/midwife

Im sure in 24 hrs u should feel 10 or more kicks or real big movements if u dont get in checked out.

Try not to worrk im sure it will be cos ur nearly due and there isnt mush space left in there

Call your midwife Lozzi if you're feeling less than 10 kicks/movements in 24 hours.

They do say that the baby is supposed to slow right down just before labour starts so could be that?

Best to get it checked though if you're really worried.

i had less movements for a few days and the midwife monitored me for an hour on the machine however you are much further on than me. i would call the midwife and just put your mind at rest thats what they are there for and if it means you getting a better restful night sleep its all worth it xx

Dont feel stupid babes, nothing is worth worrying about when it comes to the health of our LO's always better to get it checked out and be reassured.

Im glad she started moving and put your mind at rest

Glad all is well doll...I am constantly worrying about movements, I think I have a really lazy baby, the kicks are soo gentle too.

Its really worrying, but its great to get reassurance on here, thats what we are all here for xxx

glad all is ok though
